I don't know how welker is going too sleep this off season. With 7 plus minutes left I told the boys this drive is it, methodically march it down score with 2-3 minutes left and game over. Instead dropped ball stops the clock and kills the drive, you knew it was over after that and giants getting there lucky catch again.

Totally pissed off this morning again that Elisha has another ring and didn't do much too even get it. Damnit worst superbowl game ever.

I know that you obviously have no sense of reality when it comes to Eli but just out of curiosity (and hilarity of the stupid response that is sure to come) if Eli didn't do much to get his ring how the heck did the Giants end up winning?

How anyone could pin this loss on Brady is beyond me. The pats are probably my second least favorite team in the NFL (hate the Jets) and I can't stand Brady or Billichek but Brady did everything his power short of running and catching the passes himself to win the game. If his receivers didn't have hands like feet we would be talking about how Brady singlehandedly willed the Pats to victory. He didn't come across like a sore loser either, unlike Billichek.

Gisele seems upset

Quote:
"You (have) to catch the ball when you're supposed to catch the ball," Gisele Bundchen snapped back at a fan who was heckling Tom Brady. "My husband cannot (bleeping) throw the ball and catch the ball at the same time. I can't believe they dropped the ball so many times."

Perhaps there is something to Gisele curse as hot as she is dealing with this moron everyday has to get tiring on a guy and having to interact with her even on a limited basis must piss off his teammates.

The "moron" speaks three languages, and has earned $250 Million.

Didn't do much to get it? He was the best player in this year's playoffs. And he was certainly better then Brady.

Manning:

106 for 163, 1219 yards (305 yard average), 9 TDs, 1 INT, 4-0 record, 103.3 QB rating, Superbowl MVP

Brady:

75 for 111, 878 yards (293 yard average), 8 Tds, 4 INTs, 2-1 record, 100.4 QB rating

I fail to see how anyone can make an argument that Eli was lucky at all. He came through everytime in the playoffs and led his team to a game winning drive. Not liking Eli or the Giants is one thing, but no way was he lucky at all. Best player in the playoffs.

I don't understand how Welker gets the blame for not making that catch. There were other blatant drops by Hernandez and Branch that were much worse.

Plus while the Welker drop was catchable, it was more that Brady just botched his throw. Brady had time in the pocket and Welker didn't have a defender within 10 yards of him, yet Brady threw a ball that Welker would have needed to make a leaping, twisting throw to catch. A catch he probably could have made, but it would have been a great catch had he made it, in no ways was that an easy catch.

Brady was the only reason they were in the Super Bowl but it was his three mistakes that cost them the game. 1) The Safety, 2) Overthrowing a Wide Open Welker, and 3) The Stupid, Stupid jump ball to a hobbled Gronk.

Here is a Pretty good take on the game by Patriots fan Bill Simmonds, shockingly he doesn't whine and actually takes the defeat pretty good. http://www.grantland.com/story/_/id/...s-indianapolis

Cant blame the loss on any single player what so ever....its a team game and the Giants simply made more plays than the Patriots....its reallly that simple.

Since when does money have anything to do with intelligence?

She also claimed her daughter was potty trained at six months and that she felt Bridget Moynahans daughter was hers.

They weren't much worse, they were bad, but Welker's was pretty bad.

All that Eli did was exercise his power as a valued commodity to influence where he plied his trade. It happens every day in every other occupation, why not football?
(Most) other occupations don't have drafts, nor does the health of your employer typically depend on competitive balance with its rivals.

Perhaps I'm not a "typical" sports fan, but I don't fault someone that is able to leverage themselves to make their situation better.

Knowing the Chargers, they were happy to not have to pay that #1 overall pick QB contract.

Nah, she'll use that 250 million she earned and buy Tommy the best god damn sandwich ever made. Not like that's ever going to happen to you. Her husband's receivers dropped some really easy passes and that prevented him from doing his job, which was to win the Super Bowl. She has the right to be pissed off.
