They had covered all corners pretty good... just takes on lapse of concentration.

not surprised Fergie didn't make a switch, but if it's still 1-0 in 20 minutes or it ever gets to 2-0 I think we see Young and Welbeck

WHERE IS VALENCIA?!? For god's sake, he has been our best player for weeks. I can't believe that Ferguson is keeping him on the bench. Unbelievable.

I mean there's a chance City don't beat Newcastle, but United have to realize the title may be decided in the next 15 minutes here

United may try but it will be tough to make up 8 goals in GD

seems to be no intent, no pressure

Patrick Vieira ‏ @OfficialVieira
Five minutes to go and City are controlling the game. I am not worried at all. #manchesterderby

Well, City deserves that one. United never even had a sniff of goal.

Hughes going back to City and sticking it to them on the last day of the season would be fantastic, extremely unlikely, but fantastic

BY FAR the most frustrating game I have ever witnessed. Those CL final losses to Barcelona don't even come close ... to lose against the biggest rival in the decisive stages of the season while not creating a single chance in 90 minutes is absolutely horrible. You have to give credit to City, they were easily the better team and it wasn't even close.

It just seemed like they prepared for the game with the intention to defend from the kick-off, and just couldn't get anything going once they went down a goal.

Just checked the box score, Joe Hart without even 1 save? Not a single shot on target? Thats called being bossed.

Problem was that they were playing for the draw in the second half as well. Rooney abandoned for most of the game. The 5 man midfield was just ..... meh. Did the job defensively but created zilch. Not once today were city on the back foot for any sustained period of time.

All said and done, can't argue with that. City absolutely dominated.

Finish by saying that, regardless of their team, there is nothing sadder or pathetic than the fan that gets their own name on the back of a jersey.

Liam Gallagher + Maradona = 1 hell of a party.
