Sentencing is 5 days before the RNC where they would officially select a nominee. Going to be wild times. Part of me hopes he just tucks his tail and leaves the country.

No, he's free. And it's very unlikely he'll ever be behind bars for this. The chance of a first-time offender getting a jail sentence for a Class E felony is low to begin with, and with him it's even less likely.
