Am I remembering this wrong, with Westjet? I thought you you could select a seat during the 24 hour check in time for no charge, you were only charged if you choose your seat at time of booking or before this 24 hour period.
I see now it's $155 just to pick your seat within this 24 hour check in period.

$155 for a single seat? Business class?

$0 Oh Henry!........plus the packaging fee, chocolate surcharge, business sustainability fee, retailer logistics charge, carbon fee.

I paid like $35 to fly to Faro in Portugal on Ryanair from Porto.

You're probably picking an exit row seat. No way it's $155 to choose a regular seat.

Even $155 seems steep for an exit row seat. On my last flight with WestJet exit row was only $35 or $45.

$155 seems more like the price to upgrade to premium. I think that's about what I paid when I upgraded at check-in for a flight from Nashville to Calgary last fall.

My mistake, it's $151 plus tax. Not business, not premium, just a window seat in economy. 12A. I can't click on any premium or business to check prices, nothing available. That's alright, I'll stay in my aisle seat in row 38.
Last 2 times I flew was with Air Canada, I just can't remember how WesJet did the seat selection thing.

Depends where you are going. I always pay at least $150 when I'm flying to Frankfurt or London.

My son just flew Porto to Barcelona on Ryanair - $29 (base fare). So yeah, it's a thing and is possible if you don't care where you sit and don't have any bags.

I think 12A is probably their new "extended comfort" class. So that would come with a few other perks (mostly early zone boarding and an alcoholic beverage).
https://www.westjet.com/en-ca/news/2...ional%20charge.
I bet if you tried to select a different seat at the back it would be much cheaper.

That's exactly it, thanks. I logged back in to check, moving up a few rows costs $0 but moving to the front row of my section with extra legroom is $174.
The section one up towards the front must be "extended comfort", same economy seat though, but the move will cost you $151.
Tricky staying up to date on this nickle and dime ####.

Hey, Shazam. What's the deal with this? Doesn't seem like your regular posts. Is there some reference here I am missing, or do you just not like white people?
Also; Mods, what's the deal with this? Is this where the site is at now? I thought this sort of thing was prohibited.

I just took it as a joke, which I assume is how it was intended. But out of curiousity, what would you like to see done here? (Not a mod...)

It feels like a joke to me too, but it's hard to tell. Truthfully, I find haha racist humour to be hilarious. If it's allowed now, well it will be great until a bunch of posters get upset about it. I just want to know where the boundaries are.

Once we start putting hashbrowns on our Pizza it'll be like dividing by Zero.
But still better than US Imperial.

Not hashbrowns, tatertots! Spicy tatertot, green pepper, onions, and ham. You'd love it.

Pow Pizza had this perogy Detroit-style pizza? I think it had potato slices on top. It was good, too.
*spits on ground*
GMG when good pizza collides with trash owners. Like the Theo Fleury of the pizza world.
