For as big as the Superbowl is, you'd think they could come up with a better trophy celebration than that. It's just so lame, from the owner being the first one to hold the trophy to the lame interviews to the Chevy truck product placement, it's just so bad

Maybe I'm biased, but nothing can compare to seeing the captain of an NHL team raise the Stanley Cup above his head for the first time

Congrats browna, howie and the other Hawks fans. What a season for you guys. The Seahawks play football how it's meant to be played.

Edit: my brother is a huge Hawks fan and it's been fun bandwaggoning with you guys..

Huge congrats to Seattle. That game was lopsided. Seattle came to play and Denver laid an egg. Big contributions from a lot of Seattle players and a ton of Denver players made a ton of mistakes. Seattle deserved the win. Happy for Wilson, a class act and he deserves it.

Always hate when the Superbowl is done because it's so long till the next season starts.

I hate the way football ends - everyone just walking onto the field with the clock still running. Even though the outcome is not in doubt it seems an anticlimactic way to end

So does getting to the Super Bowl this year help or hurt Manning's legacy?

I think Peyton outsmarted himself. He is constantly making adjustments in the huddle and why can't he just settle on a play like most QBs do?

That's exactly how the first botched snap that led to a safty from the 1st play came about. And sadly that might have set the tone for him and his team.

Congrats to the Seahawks -- as Canadian a team as there is in the NFL (west of Ontario at least). Sad to see Brandon Browner missing out on the big game -- hope he still gets a ring.

11-12 all time in playoff games.

What is his legacy exactly?

One of the greatest regular season QB's of all time hands down. Not a lot of success in the playoffs, but still has a superbowl ring which a lot of good QB's don't have.
Maybe this motivates him and the Broncos for another run next year. They have to get better and play better, but they have to think they have a shot.

Edit to add: Congrats Seahawks. well-deserved victory.

this Denver team reminded me of the 80's Bronco teams that went to the Super Bowl, they were awful...... nice to see a pretty cleanly reffed game as well, always worried about the "phantom" call.... bet GB wishes they kept John Schneider over Ted Thompson....

I thought it was a pretty lame Superbowl myself. We have the 2 #1 seeds, best D verse best O in the league...great potential for an epic game and really it was a dud.

Game was all but said and done by half time, which really is a shame given the hype for the weeks building up to it.

Congrats to the Seahawks and their fans, the better team on this day, won tonight

Oh you mean they played Super Bowl tonight? Funny I didn't even notice Denver Broncos out there. I am neutral in this game but leaning a little more for Seattle since they are the closest NFL team in Calgary. I am also cheering for QB Wilson since pretty much a lot of people in the NFL keeps saying he is too small for being an NFL QB. Well, that proved them wrong..size does not matter. Dissapointed that our boy Brandon Browner didn't play because of suspension but more dissapointed that the game was over in the first half already. I was hoping for high scoring. Not dissapointed about the halftime show though. Bruno Mars was pretty good and Red Chili Pepper was good as well. Anyways congrats to the Seahawks. Until next season I guess.
