Seems like it worked out for both teams. Richardson is not a top back and isn't good enough to make guys miss so in Cleveland he was never going to be successful. Despite a few good results the Browns are still missing a lot on offense so getting another pick is likely better for them they a guy they can easily replace in FA or the upcoming draft.

The Colts needed a guy now and although not great Richardson seems competent enough to if nothing else block for Luck. The pick is likely a better player than Richardson in 2-3 years but the Colts are more concerned with now.

If I had to pick one I like the trade from Clevelands side but not by much and I can see why Indy made the deal.

Not sure if it has been mentioned, but Gronkowski should be good to go on Sunday vs. the Saints.

I think a better pool would be on how many times that joke is posted.

Was there someone on here who said they had access to Chiefs tickets? I might be in KC in December.

That incident has been known about for a while. There has been a fair bit of speculation about what sort of suspension he was going to get but that was delayed until the police concluded their investigation. I guess this is that.

I knew he and Delanie Walker fired guns trying to clear an out of control party. I hadn't heard it was an assault weapon.

I thought I saw on Twitter yesterday it was an handgun, like one most gun owners would have.

Eli continues to show that without a power running game and a D with a solid pass rush, that he isnt that great.. 15 interceptions already...

Just wow....who the #### beats up an infant? Thoughts and prayers AP

Quote:
Adrian Peterson's 2-year-old son is currently in critical condition in a South Dakota hospital ... after he was allegedly severely beaten by the man dating the mother of his child, TMZ has learned.

The Minnesota Vikings running back immediately left his team to be with his son.

Officials tell us they've arrested the suspect, 27-year-old Joseph Patterson ... who's been charged with aggravated felony assault and battery of an infant.

According to law enforcement, emergency responders arrived to the apartment where Peterson's son was living at 5:46 PM on Wednesday ... and found the child unresponsive.

He was rushed to a nearby hospital and medical experts determined the injuries were consistent with abuse.

Law enforcement sources tell us ... the child suffered severe head injuries

Well that guys life is over...either the other inmates in prison will take care of him, or someone on the outside will be glad to do him in themselve. Just unfathomable to me how some people can be that way.

I suppose it may illustrate what types of woman end up going after these high profile athletes in hopes of hooking themselves up to a nice child support payment.

She said the mother of the child had a casual relationship with AP when she lived in the Twin Cities (she's since moved to South Dakota). She became pregnant, but wasn't sure about the identify of the father "until just recently." A paternity test revealed that the dad was indeed Adrian Peterson. Our source says Peterson isn't identified as the father on the birth certificate of the child, who goes by his mother's last name.

Before the paternity test, the mother knew the father "could've been one of two guys," she said.

Our source says Adrian was aware he was the father of the child before this week's tragic incident. Previous reports have indicated Adrian only has two children, Adrian Jr. and a daughter named Adeja.
http://blogs.citypages.com/blotter/2...ource_says.php

Just an unbelievably sad story all around. Wonder how long AP even knew he was the father.
