Maxim just snaked my vote for ward 11 candidate for having a voting station map on his website. Perhaps, more specifically, for being top of the google search for ward 11 voting stations.
For anyone else in ward 11, here are your voting stations:
Just so people know TV coverage for this starts tonight @ 8-9 on CTV, 10-11 for Global. CityTV has its regular programming and CBC has battle of the blades and just for laughs... =.=. I think shaw tv is supposed to have something too, but haven't seen any schedule for it yet.
I'm surprised CBC isn't showing the Toronto election
Is there anyway to vote if you're currently not located in Calgary?
I'm a student down in Lethbridge but have lived in Calgary my entire life and would like to participate, however, enduring the 4 hours of driving there and back to vote just isn't feasible.

You are unable to vote during the whole of the Advance Vote or at your regular Voting Station on Election Day because:
a . of physical incapacity, or
b . you are absent from the city, or
c . you are working Election Day as a Deputy Returning Officer, Constable, Candidate, Agent, Scrutineer or campaign worker

I doubt that is possible, a person would have to vote a proper sites. As pre voting is now closed.
You may request a Mail-in (Special) Ballot if:

And in the right hand column of the same page:

Yeah, I looked into it earlier. The site's quite misleading as it says you can get a ballot up until 8:00pm, but you have to return it by 8:00pm.
If you're a university student I say screw it, turn off Dexter and make a road trip up to Calgary for the vote.
Screw it. I'm going to vote Nenshi, even though this Nenshi hype is making me ill. At the end of the day, I agree with him the most.
As a nenshi supporter, I have to agree with you to an extent. The Hype machine is get a bit insane (and yes I am guilty of it), but at the same time it's a by product of his campaign. If he didn't have the ravenous fans, we probably wouldn't be talking about him right now and debating a McIvor vs. Barb race. So it's one of those horrible catch 22 situations.
The good news is that on the 20th, we won't have to see anymore election coverage until 2013.
