You can't determined by replay what happens after the whistle is blown.
It's actually a great explaination by the referee.
This is entirely the fault of the sideline official who threw his hands up in the air for a TD. There's no way HE WAS ANYTHING!

what a bunch of bs, I don't mind losing but it seems like every year there is always controversial calls against the Fins. The NFL is a multibillion dollar industry get it right for f's sake

Yeah get better refs! Not sure what replay could do, it took a TD away and that's all it could do. Refs get so whistle happy when they can't see crap.
If there was no whistle, the play would have continued and Miami would have recovered. Steelers probably would have challenged in vain.
