Anyways just got this bad boy from Azmodan. Didn't even realize it would be worth anything until I accidentally floated over it and saw it was 1 handed.



Nothing compared to some of the other stuff in this thread but it's got perfect 10 Arcane Power from Crits and some IAS. No clue at all on the prices of any wizard #### so anyone got a ball park estimate? The AH currently doesn't have any 1K+ damage weapons meeting the 10 Arcane power with increase attack speed so I just don't want to underprice myself too much.

Nice! Put it on RMAH for 250$ and see what happens. Hey btw.. if you don't mind me asking.. B4 you Id'd it.. What did it say the base dmg was? and ill get a Price check going on this...

I haven't set up my account for the RMAH, and sorry don't have any clue on the base damage. I didn't even know it was a 1 handed item, was almost a fluke I didn't sell it to the vendor

Dude seriously it takes 3 min to set up the account.. you have to still put your CC on file which is weird but I will never buy anything with it. Its always nice to get paid back in real money to cover at least the cost of buying the game ..

trade it to me.. ill post it and split the $$ with ya, especially since my account is already set up.. HAHA JK.. Thats a nice weapon man, don't sell yourself short!

I was orignially going to post that its nice, but without stats will never be a top selling item.

Then I looked on the AH/RMAH. There are only 3 comparable items for sale, none of which have stats. $250, and 30 million and 40 million gold are the buyout prices.

edit: just tweaked my search a bit and there are many similar weapons with stats available. Still worth good coin though, with many in the > $100 range, but there is a clearly better weapon available for $70 (has +vit) that has been on the market for over a day, which leads me to believe that the others might be overpriced a bit. The gold AH price range doesnt change much and 30-40mill seems appropriate, but probably on the lower end of that scale.

Oh man, I accidentally pulled my attack button off my tool bar fighting Diablo and lost my 5NV. I got a few blues for killing Diablo first time on Hell. Not pleased.

i used command shift 3 on mac... Isnt there a print screen on PC? Then I just crop it down and save it .

Think these are worth anything? I have so much stuff it's crazy, I really need to get rid of it, but I'm scared there's something I have that's worth good gold and I'm going to sell it for 5000.

That helm seems like it would be worth something. I've found selling items on the AH to be really hit or miss, even items I perceive as being pretty decent stat-wise. I guess with so many items on the AH, it becomes easy to have your items lost among everybody else.

Yeah helm is ok but generally for items to be worth anything, they need more than just two good rolls in triple digits (say dex + vit) they also need a third roll that's useful for that character (ie intel roll doesnt help you with a DH obviously so its worthless). When the third roll is resists or movement speed or magic/gold find you found a good item for auction, if it's one of the holy trinity (IAS, crit chance, crit damage) on top of 2 rolls in tripple digits you've found jackpot.

People sell items with two double digit rolls (dex+vit) for around 10-15k

Easiest way to PC items it to search for that exact item, ranged a bit lower, on the important stats, and lower you buyout until you have less than a page of items.

So, for the helm, in the AH plug in, 140 Int, 80 vit and put your buyout to 10,000. If nothing comes up, then it is worth more than that, if 5 page comes up, then cut your max buyout in half.

Valuable stats are dps stats, Dex -> Int -> Str, in descending order, the higher the better, but over 100 is good. If you have that and vit is high (over 80-100), that is what will give you a good value most of the time, especially on rings or amulets , especially if there is resits/ias/crit dam/crit chance.

After a while you will get a hang of it.

Right now, if something is worth less than 10k, I just vendor it (or salvage if it is level 61 or higher and worth less than the salvage cost - about 1k-1.2k right now I think, but check AH). That is just because I have so much stuff to sell that is worth more than that, that I wouldn't have any space if I kept that stuff around.

For those items, helm is best chance and it might be about 5-10k. I am having authenticator issues, so cant log in to check for sure.

I dunno if you are on a mac... but its really convenient . Command +shift+ 3 ( For Screenshot), pull the picture up , select the part of the screen shot you want , Command+C ( copy it ) , Command+N , Command+S , and your done.

Awesome thanks for the advice on pricing guys, I was kind of doing what you described Rathji to get an idea. And Flame of Liberty that helps, especially to eyeball an item to see if it's worth keeping while running around.

If anyone is having trouble making cash, I always recommend flipping legendaries. Some people are just so into legendaries even though their primary stats are pretty weak.

Search for Hammer Jammers ~100k, if you find ones with all the right stats (even if they aren't high) you can re-sell them for 500-1mil easy.

Pricing for Inferno items is generally based on not only the primary stats for your character, but +All resist. Crit change and crit damage are good as well but depending on the roll, some items may be far more desirable than others (IE 7% crit chance over a 3% crit chance roll). Some items are hard to price but generally you get a good idea following those guide lines. A fairly innocuous pair of bracers could sell for 2.5m, but that shield may not sell for 50k.
