What the heck happened to the Orioles this year. I knew they were struggling but didn't realize they are 19-36 now

The question is, how much do you want to tie up in Bo and Vladdy? and is that a core you win with.
Really good pieces, but I they need someone better and will they be able to afford it.

What a ridiculous series. Today the White Sox, Pirates, Marlins, and Nationals all scored more runs than Texas and Toronto combined over a 3 game series.

I was against signing either for beyond 7 years. So ideally 5 years to get them at their peaks. Anyway, having an asset is better than not having it. The draft in baseball is different, as tanking isn't completely needed in baseball. It's about draft acumen whereever you are, and having the right assets to trade at the right time. It would be ideal to sign Bo for a medium term deal, and deal him if assets need to be recovered down the road for prospects.
