So Nashville has zero shot?

You thinking the diving twins up north are going to stop their antics? The refs will call things fairly? You just saw what happened to LA right?

We just have to wait for the WCF and Colorado to slap them around.

How many goals will Draisaitl score in a 7 game series against the Predators? Likely double digits if it goes 6 or 7 games. Canucks are the only hope to stop the Oilers in the 2nd round which is why I'm pulling for them to win game 6 as gross as that is.

Vancouver needs to wake up offensively and end the Preds next game.

They have a mojo going against Edmonton and the oilers hate how "fortunate" they've been, so it could be a situation where team entitled comes unraveled if things go the Canucks way early on.

Refs held the whistles on the off chance there was a goal. Thats me being cynical but yeah it does make you wonder.

I think you are right and I hope the Kings are on the phones today asking for answers. That simply can't be allowed to happen regardless of league agendas.

Fan rivalries aside, I think an EDM vs VAN second round would actually be a fun series to watch. I don't think a series with Nashville would be as enjoyable. And then, lets face it, it's going to be tough to beat Dallas and/or Colorado.

Once the mask if off the play has to be blown dead, doesn't matter what is happening. I think they have killed plays if a shot goes off the mask adn a strap is just loose.

Makes you wonder which ref was on Bet365.com on his phone during the intermissions.

It frankly played like Katz had 4 of his cronies lock up the real nhl refs in a closet after the first period and take their uniforms.

It was an embarrassingly poor middle frame from them that sewered the game.

There seemed no point in watching the rest.

I am happy to see officiating, namely that in the Oilers series, being called out. We need to see more of that. A negative light on the Oilers is exactly whats needed to get any sort of meaningful change. Officiating is bad across the board, no doubt, but the Oilers games? They're just reffed....differently.

The over the top coverage of that team from national media, specifically Sportsnet just raises the eyebrows higher.

Something really does smell funny here.

At the very least that officiating crew should not be allowed to work another Oilers game in this playoffs if they are even allowed to call another playoff game after the no whistle when a goaltender is maskless debacle.

It was like when Danny Davis joined the Hart Foundation. I was expecting the refs to rip their shirts off at the end to expose their Oilers jerseys underneath.

Don't worry I am sure that idiot Elliote Friedman will go on national TV to change the narrative.

He has cried countless times how the refs need to call a penalty in the playoffs every time McDiver is touched.

They can't lose in the next round because neither Vancouver or Nashville are eventual cup champions.

Here's 3 prime examples of the horrendous officiating from last night.

Yeah sucks how Vegas had to lay an egg against Anaheim in the season finale, I have zero faith in either Vancouver (especially if Demko is out) or Nashville beating the Grease.

I know Oilers will not get by Stars/Avs/Knights, but they'll be feeling hopeful and cocky about making round 3 again. I wanted their spirits crushed round 1 like Vegas would've done to em to only further Crysaitl leaving next summer.

I can never decide who I hate more. McDavid or Draisaitl. What a pair of miserable twats.
