BTW someone needs to tell Singh that in OT yes, every save can be considered a "game saver". He doesn't need to suggest an OT save might be a game saver.

Slashing a player after you score and the play is dead is an obvious penalty

The biggest diver in this series is Arvidsson, that dive and embellishment after the fact with the Nurse penalty was exactly why major penalties needed to be reviewed. Very Burrowsesque with the looking up right after.

From watching the post-game interviews, it’s quite obvious, and completely unfair IMHO, that the Ref’s have told LA their standard, and not the Oilers.

Post game interviews keep saying how good they played 5 on 5.
But the only 5 on 5 goal of the game went to LA. Incredible how delusional this team and their media are.

Co-host on ched
"Game was way more important for LA. If they lose, they don't win another game."
"If Edmonton loses... well they'll come back and win anyways"
Also
"Refs trying to outshine the stars! Wahh, wahh."
What a likable, gracious team.

That was 100% a trip, and a stupid and dangerous play by Nurse. Brutal take.

I saw the Kostin penalty as the referees letting a lot go during the shift but then cracking down at a certain point. It does look bad though the Danault then stands directly over McDavid for 5 or so seconds preventing him from getting up. If there is a precedent set in a tight game I can see why there would be arguing about it. I don't think it was a horrible call but the consistency is what is needed more than anything.
People here complained all the time when Tkachuk would get those iffy reputation calls and rightfully so.

Kings have done a great job at containing Mcavi 5on5. They've also done a great job of playing their game and not giving in to the Oilers pond hockey. They've yet to stretch it out and show their depth. The Kings are a better team than they've shown in the first 3 games. I hope they take the next step in game 4 and take a strangle hold on the series.

The McPP is the Oilers' bread and butter, so of course they and their fans are gonna piss and moan about not getting enough calls in their favour. Having an extra man is the only way they can win.

Wow, their media is already in full force about the “refs”. Maybe learn to score 5 on 5
