Aside from being right at the game, I'd say Ship on 17th or Kildare's down south - both are the official homes of the Cavs during away games and will likely have the best atmosphere. I'll definitely be at the Ship with friends that night!
Anyone know if the ship allows kids? Looking to bring my 11 month old.
League officially announces attendance up 19% over 2022, and more importantly, revenue growth in all key categories. Important for the league being sustainable long term
Quote:
In addition to attendance increases, CPL has seen a record uptick in all over key revenue categories over the course of the 2023 season, which will be released following the CPL Final.
Decided to get tickets for the Finals, and coming to the supporters section! I'm even bringing a fellow Calgary-to-Toronto mate who's never been to a Cavs game. Time to fix that!
Can't wait to cheer with the Foot Soldiers again!

Chatting with Leon a couple days ago, I told him my highlight Vs Pacific was his celly after the 2nd goal. (Not sure if anyone noticed, but he went nuts). He said it was because it was “his set piece” and that they’ve scored 16 goals on set pieces this year. 16!! That’s actually remarkable, and they have been noticeably good on them in the games I’ve been to this year.

I’ve been trying to figure out how to word this but I think as long as Cavalry play the game tomorrow and not the opposition they’ll be fine. It’s a final, a big game, but it’s a game all the same and treat it as such. If they start getting too invested in revenge against Forge and owing them for years past I will be worried. Bekker, Henry, Smyrniotis just seem to live rent free inside Cavalry’s collective heads.
Trust that you’re the better team, you can hurt them in different ways. You’ve got the best defence and can lock a game down, you can play a back and forth track meet, or can see the game out in possession. It’s the best Cavalry squad assembled, believe in that and the result will follow.
Did Tommy just have his "Fck Croatia" moment with that dig at Bekker? Maybe they're buddies, but I'd prefer the public trashing of Kyle Bekker by our manager to be saved for the full time whistle tomorrow.
I zipped through the replay of the awards show. It was actually really well done considering the profile of the league. I really like Kristian Jack, that guy has been a quiet soldier of Canadian Soccer, so glad he landed somewhere after TSN ditched him.
I'd maybe be OK with it if the tried a "VAR-light" using the OneSoccer feeds or something. The pixel counting and fancy tech of the big European leagues would be overkill (and costly), but a 5th official watching the OneSoccer feed would eliminate the most glaring mistakes.
If he visually a mile offside? That's easy. Need to squint and can't find anything to overturn it? Good enough - leave it be.
That's actually more "pure" than finding that a guy's toe was two pixels offside, but nobody on the field or broadcast booth even noticed it in real time.
