There was already (well thought out) discussion that Gaudreau wasn't a top 10 winger... If he isn't, then MTk's on the outside looking in (at least for now) too

I think pretty much everyone has said, if Johnny leaves it won't be because of the money.

I believe that Calgary will do all that is reasonable to keep him.

It's really all in Johnny's hands, as it has been all along.

Rangers only have 10 million available and need 7 roster spots filled. It may not be Copp is going to be overpaid but simply the Rangers can’t or won’t pay him
