What's the controversy? The ump ruled against Leylah, the point wasn't replayed as she has requested.

It is funny that as Eldrick has mentioned, Leylah is getting flak for asking to replay the point due to the lights flickering which is perfectly reasonable and I will note that several tennis players and pundits have chimed in to say that the point should have been replayed. Also, there's nothing stopping Serrano to agreeing with Leylah and saying that the point should be replayed, obviously she won the point so there's very little incentive for her to do that. If you read enough tweets (which I don't recommend), it's almost as if Leylah planned for the lights to flicker at that very moment in the match.
Tennis fans are just weird, if the player they're rooting for doesn't win, there's obviously some massive conspiracy at play that's preventing them from winning.

Indian Wells ladies draw is out and Leylah has a tough draw - Gets a bye in round 1, but will likely play Anisimova in round 2 which is a tough match and if she manages to advance will likely play Ostapenko in round 3 who has been on fire this year.

So it's draw day for the men at Indian Wells and Djokovic has yet to withdraw (still on the entry list). It's not just about you Novak when other people are directly impacted by your refusal to a) be vaccinated and b) hoping to still play a tournament when the-restrictions are that to enter the country that vaccination is a requirement.

seriously, what the hell is the ATP's obsession with this guy, it's worse than the hold that Mike Smith has on Oilers management. nobody in history has ever said "wow Zverev is going to be there? I'm buying tickets to every day and night session to give myself the best chance of witnessing his genius!"

We could see another Rafa vs. Shapo clash in round 4 of IW

The real reason why Djokovic won't play is because he might have to face former world #7 Goffin in round 2

are they going to do this same thing in a few weeks for Miami, assuming he keeps the spite train rolling and doesn't take his name off?

He's already decided he's not going to play in Miami. Next time we see Novak it will be on some European red clay.

Vasek falls short of making the IW main draw as he loses to a very in-form Thanasi Kokkinakis 7-6 7-5.

I see tweets like the one below and it makes me think that these people are Djokovic fans rather than tennis fans.
https://twitter.com/user/status/1501805187828178944
I watch tennis because I'm a tennis fan first and foremost and it's a game I've played all my life. Sure I have some favorite players I root for and hope they do well, but I don't stop watching tennis because my guy isn't playing.
