I heard the Saddledome has 7 feet of water inside. Heard from family friend, so not sure how legit it is, but given the close proximity to the river it would not surprise me.

How far north did the water get in that area? My girlfriend was evacuated at 15 street NW just north of Kensington road.

I don't doubt that just looking at this picture.
Saddledome is flooded, below the light is a ramp to drive down to arena floor. #ABFlood #YYC #yycflood. https://twitter.com/GlennStreet

For those in the north who are looking to help, consider helping out the Drop-in Centre with food and supplies.

We walked down 21st from 4th Ave to the pedestrian overpass over Memorial. It was dry the entire way. I did see some pretty large pools of water on 19th by the soccer fields + fire station.
I didn't go to 15th St but we saw lots of cars on Kensingnton so I am ASSUMING that she should be ok.

Just heard on CTV, the back up plan for some of the bigger animals, like tigers and gorillas at the Zoo to go to the lock-up cells at the Courthouse building. I am impressed.

Suspect a massive amount of the gravel/boulders and debris are getting caught up at SeeBee and the Ghost. But I'm sure the river is ripping up a significant amount of ground between the Ghost and the city.
