I just bought a few of these (way out of the money). I think the most likely outcome is zero by far, but if it crashes down to just egregiously overvalued they would be a big win.
I also bought some puts on ARKK, an etf with Tesla as its biggest holding

Anybody buying on the LSPD (lightspeed) pullback? Or are many feeling it is overvalued? Some experts had is as a $100 stock by 2021, but it did seem to charge ahead a little too quickly at times.

Does anyone know if it's legal to invest in Russian stocks as a Canadian? I'm having trouble deciphering the language around the sanctions: https://www.international.gc.ca/worl....aspx?lang=eng
Specifically, I'm looking at investing in Lukoil, Sberbank and the RSX ETF.

IANAL, but the RSX isn't a Russian security, its a US security. I think that's probably safe. Not sure if Lukoil and Sberbank are affiliates of anyone on the list. If you're buying retail shareholder size quantities I doubt it becomes an issue anyway.

Titan Medical's share offering looks like a good buy, just came across the Questrade IPO center. $1.55 USD for a share and 1/2 warrant to buy at $2.
Stock on the Nasdaq went down to $1.77 after market, and the shares seem to have good momentum.

I'm actually surprised it ended up as good as it did, considering. Let's see what awaits us tomorrow.

I wouldn't want to predict tomorrow (fools errand), but the market reaction today is somewhat as expected. The market cares about things that will affect the economy and financial matters, so the message here is that the Democrats winning the Senate (effectiely) is more important than the events in DC. Now, if this starts spreading and causes larger problems that are effectively "mass chaos" things could change. At this point though, the markets could be fine tomorrow and that's not as crazy as you might think, in my personal opinion.

Yeah, I guess at this point the market is more interested about what happens in the Biden administration. But still, not every day there is an attempted coup of the Capitol of the worlds biggest economy. You'd think that would ruffle some more feathers.

Yeah, I don't think today's events will move the market much. The event would have needed to show sustained instability and a threat to the actual election outcome. I don't think that is there. There is already too much "trump craziness" built into this year's market.

Had an idea!

Tesla did a couple $5 billion dollar stock offerings lately, and with the recent run I'd imagine they will probably do another one soon.
At this point the ability to raise money for free to fund future expansion is a massive advantage.
Somehow the ability to do that seems to drive the price even higher.
Quote:
RBC Capital Markets analyst Joseph Spak ended his bearish call on Tesla Inc. shares TSLA, +5.82% Thursday with an upgrade to sector perform from underperform. Tesla shares are up 2.9% in premarket trading Thursday. "There is no graceful way to put this other than to say we got TSLA's stock completely wrong (even if our fundamental view to date wasn't too far off)," he wrote in a note to clients. "Our biggest miss was how TSLA can take advantage of its stock price to raise capital inexpensively and fund capacity outlays and growth." He said that this dynamic enables Tesla to easily fund its future growth while traditional carmakers will need to rely on considerable cash from their current operations in order to fund their electric-vehicle ambitions. "In short, the higher stock price is somewhat self-fulfilling to TSLA's growth potential," he wrote.
