Abreu was pretty filthy. I think the Jays have a chance against their closer. Need Varsho and Chappy to come up big.
But Pop needs to shut this down.

Well that was a pretty quick turn from hopeful to despair. Astro's showing why they're a perennial contender and the Jays are still figuring it out. Just a bunch of professional AB's. Hope Bo and Vlad were watching.

That will about do it. One team clutch with bases loaded, the other not so much. Ouch.

Pop isn’t a high leverage guy…yet. The bullpen has been eaten up from Manoah and Gausman’s poor starts.
Feel really bad for Berrios but I’m glad that he’s showing some real signs of turning the corner…eh Blaster?
Just kidding. A couple of good starts is a good sign but things can go south again.

####ing asshat dinks one off the end of his bat again, this time for 2 RBI.
And we're even more done now...
Thanks a lot Jays you and your mug ABs today. Pitiful, just plain pitiful.

All the runs today came with 2 outs and no one on

Well, that's enough of that for me tonight. No sense getting stressed out watching them turn a 2-1 game into a 8-1 game in 5 minutes.

Wow. A BP pitch gets crushed. When Cimber is missing his smoke and mirrors…he gets destroyed.

We’d have had a decent bullpen set up if our Aces didn’t totally suck this time around the rotation.

Still giving up 8+ runs in nearly half the games

Cimber isn’t intimidating at all. For a submariner being brought in he should be catching guys by surprise. It’s a roller coaster with him too often. Already it looks like this deadline they’ll be working the phones to get pitching.

Cimber was really good last year though, for the most part, wasn't he? I dunno, they're facing really good hitting and it's a small sample size for each pitcher, hard to really pin down who's going to be a weak link yet.

The Jays have a bunch of solid relievers now but other than Romano they don't really have dominant relievers.
This early part of the season is going to be a battle. They are playing so many really good teams it's going to be hard to get on any kind of sustained roll I'm thinking.
Just have to hope the wheels don't fall off at some point and they can stay above .500

You’re right. I am concerned about the pitching overall though. Seems to be wildly inconsistent.

Jays 11-8 and 4th in the AL east. What a brutal division.
