Add again to that WFH element, is maybe a degree of impatience?
Driving in general is definitely worse over the past couple years, even if traffic is far better.

I think it's a blend of atrophied skills, people who got used to an all-time traffic low now dealing with more volume, and more selfishness/inattentiveness

I love dipping the Mama/Papa/Grandpa burger in their gravy. So good.

Honestly speaking, the vast majority of fast food is better with gravy.

Plus many who cannot drive without driver assist technologies.

I swear that place is a front for an illegal genetics lab, breeding their own hybrid of alien super-chicken, and testing it on the public. It puts all other pub wings to shame.

Thirding that Mug Shotz is the place to be if you want wings that go hard. Conveniently located next to Sweet and #### All.

It's in the strangest location, and yet you once you go with regularity you come to appreciate that the holy grail of chicken wings is hidden away in an industrial graveyard.

I don't know where they get the chickens either. Maybe a laboratory, maybe same island as King Kong, I don't care. Just keep them coming.

What's everybody's top flavours there?

The "mix up" is incredible. Combo of seasoned and sauced. It's the best of both worlds.

Helmet laws are stupid. All they do is make fewer people ride bikes.

How do the helmet laws work these days? 80% of people on the e-bikes and e-scooters don't have them.

I'm so comfortable on my electric personal vehicle that I use a helmet maybe only a third of the time. Mostly cause I don't max it out often and can stop on a dime. Usually stick to pathways and not roads.

I really should though.

Back in the day $10 got me about 50 wings, a pint, the tip, and some good conversation for a while. Usually ended up buying another drink or two anyways. Found the wings-hangover was more portent than the cheap beer hangovers.

And cars itself you're looking at everything but the road. GPS, cameras, mirrors everywhere checking on kids, and distractions of said kids. Not to mention cellphones of course.

And people just don't know the roads. I think we older drivers know where we're going just as habit or instinct. Like we need to turn left 3 intersections from now, let's get into the left lane. Younger people rely on GPS, it tells you to turn left but way later than 3 intersections away. Thus, you're looking for the next street to turn on rather than waiting for a voice to tell you.

Please wear a helmet so that you take up fewer hospital resources when you crater. They are currently is short supply.

99% of the time I wear one. Current law here is that it's mandatory for u-18. I doubt it has any enforcement.

I can’t say about this particular place but turkey parts are often used in place of chicken because they grow faster and young turkey is whiter than old chicken.

Edit: avian racism

Funny how it's the same industrial strip mall that Naina's used to be in before they got all uppity.

Mugshotz Salt n'pepper is my go-to flavor there.

Though their Cracked Black Pepper and Lime is a good one, too.

Mug Shotz is really that good. It’s worth the drive from wherever you live.

The beer selection is laughable though.

Me and my friends used to go to 10 cent wing night at Bonasera like 2007-2010ish so you don't have to be that old to remember them.

I’m okay with cheap wings no longer being a thing. You shouldn’t be able to consume an acre of chicken parts for less than $5.
