Columbus and Colorado playing playoff hockey for a month, come in on absolute fire just to make it and end up looking like the first seed in their respective series'.

There would be no chance in hell of beating SJ or Vegas if they can only get 1 win against the Avs.

It's also about matchups, toughness and experience.

And coaching. Look at Trotz.

How many times have the Flamea been fighting for their lives in late March and April to look completely exhausted once they limp into the playoffs

Sam Bennett should be basically the very last player on any fan's hit-list.

It should start at #13, move to #23, then to #7, then to #18.

Those are the Big Four for me. I have lots of questions for all four of those players.

If I'm not mistaken since the current playoff format has been in place the higher seeds have quite a bit better chance of advancing on average. This year has been a serious anomaly.

Even if Monahan is injured, does that really change anything? If he is then this is a yearly thing for him where he ends up playing the end of the season through injuries and becoming totally ineffective. Also, I respect if he wants to play through those injuries, but should he be the #1 C when he's injured if he can't be effective?
