I'll have to give him another shot, as judging by the other 3 names you threw out there, I trust your comedic taste. To be fair to him, I've only seen him for one segment on his Tosh 2.0 show. Just wasn't a fan, at all. Something about his vibe just rubbed me the wrong way. Didn't even realize he did stand-up.

EDIT: One person I see I didn't mention earlier in this thread who I enjoy is Mike Birbiglia. Haven't heard a ton of his stuff, but the little bits I've heard so far are pure gold. His story about the Baseball Awards almost got me in a car accident on Sirius Raw Dog when I was driving.

Andrew Dice Clay
Jim Jefferies
Doug Stanhope
Denis Leary
Brian Posehn
Seinfeld
Bob Saget

Louis CK
Jim Norton
Jim Florentine

and surprising this was never mentioned yet - Howie Mandel, he was on stern this morning, talked mostly about his network stuff but if you can find his standup it is classic, kind of like Saget where you don't expect all the F bombs etc.

One Howie Mandel Classic - "how many women out there think men are ####ing idiots?" and of course all the women start hollering and cheering "well hate to break it to you but those men are ####ing you..."

Part 1, 2 and 3 of Norms new stand up routine. For those of you who saw him at yuk yuks a few weeks back, this is completely different material. This is probably the funniest stand up material i've heard from him.

Teats Out: An Oral History of the Rise and Fall (and Rise) of "The Dana Carvey Show"

http://www.gq.com/entertainment/movi...?currentPage=1

Steve Carell. Stephen Colbert. Louis C.K. Charlie Kaufman. Robert Smigel. Some of comedy's greatest minds got one of their biggest breaks on the short-lived but much-loved "The Dana Carvey Show." Fifteen years later, in this exclusive oral history, the players recount the brief but fertile life of a truly unusual show

Armed with what is now a who's who of comedy names: Robert Smigel, Louis C.K., Stephen Colbert, Steve Carell, Spike Feresten, 30 Rock showrunner Robert Carlock, Delocated star Jon Glaser, and Community writer and supporting player Dino Stamatopoulos, among many others. Not to mention a guy who would go on to write some of the most abstract and beloved films in history—including Being John Malkovich and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind—Charlie Kaufman

Watch full episodes:

Robert Smigel is an important figure in comedy. He worked on SNL, Conan, and the Dana Carvey Show.

I've been watching Mock of the Week, a British comedy, and Frankie Boyle's pretty funny. All of his material is NSFW or extremely NSFW

NSFW!

I had no idea that Mike Birbiglia or Patton Oswalt had new albums out, thanks for the heads up!
