Now that's what you called a BOUNCED BACK game for the offense. They started off on fire and stay on fire 'til the end. Burris was awesome tonight and so as the receivers. Romby Bryant with 2 TD, Ken-Yon Rambo with 100 yards TD and my favorite Nik Lewis.... what a TD!! He just bulldozed Estelle and went all the way to the end zone.
I thought the special team also bounced back big time. They didn't give the punt/kick returner from Montreal a lot of good yardage. Awesome hit by Brandon Browner on Chip Cox late in the 4th quarter. Deon Murphy did a lot better but still need to be better. Our defense was good enough and I am happy with their play.

So, I hope the Stampeders answered some of the critics tonight. They beat the so-called best team in the league by 25 points (46-21). Only negative thing on this game was the amount of penalties especially the pass interference penalty. I thought some of those PI are broderline call. Mind you both teams are guilty of way too many penalties. The flag-happy referees probably had a party out there. Next game against the same team in Montreal. If the Stamps start off the way they started tonight, I can't see them losing the game..

Just another angry rider fan from what I read over there. Very disappointing Jesse. I thought you were better than that.

That Nik Lewis TD was incredible. Wow.

Good bounce back win and hopefully means that last week against BC was one of those bust games.

I loved reading all the accusations over on Riderfan of Nik taking steroids. Stay classy, Sask fans. It's absolutely impossible for most of them to credit a Stampeder with a good play; compare that with the number of Stamps fans here giving credit to Dressler for his great touchdown catch two weeks ago.

3 Grey Cups in 100 years in a 8-team league will do that for you.

Bitterness at its finest

Have you read his posts here there is nothing to indicate that he is anywhere close to being better than anything.

He is a typical homer Rider with no knowledge of anything.

I really love how Riders fans continue to get on Calgary for not selling out every game despite the fact that there's a very good chance that the Stampeders may lead the league in attendance this year if people continue not to go to Eskimos games. Football success has been pretty common in Calgary over the last 20 years so yes it's possible that the city at times takes it for granted but the team is still supported very well at the gates. The Riders on the other hand have been historically the least successful CFL franchise so now that they are fielding a competitive team there's a big love-in and they think they are the best fans in the game despite the fact that it wasn't long ago that the Riders were barely getting 20k fans to games. We will see how great attendance is when the team get's back to their historical performance of bottom dweller.

Just saw that Jessie834 got a lifetime suspension, not sure what happened.
He contributed lots to the CFL thread, which was a good thing.

I haven't noticed anything ban-worthy but it's not our call who get's banned or why. I'm sure he did something as people don't get banned unless they deserve it.

Bans don't come lightly.
Did contribute in so far as retweeing from Rod Pedersen and other CFL twitter accounts and blogs.

Solid win by Stamps. Can't complain about anything. Offense firing away, special teams solid, defense giving up very little. Good tests on the road the next few weeks, then hopefully can cruise the final couple weeks again and get/stay healthy.

I don't know what he did here but he posted this over there:

Hopefully every single sack of crap sitting in that stadium is killed tonight.

What an embarrassing group of crap they are.
Angry, angry young man.

EDIT - Ha ha. That was actually Jesse re-posting something from moon last year.

Exactly. I'm not questioning their passion, but from a strictly ticket sales point of view, they couldn't even sell out the smallest stadium in the league(before the Als moved to Percival anyway) until a couple years ago when they got a contender. Let em talk, its what they're known for. God I hate that team.

On a side note, how pathetic are Edmonton's franchises when they're not even Calgary's arch-rivals in CFL(Riders) or NHL(Cansucks) anymore? I've lived in Edmonton 5 years now and they hate us soooo much more than we hate them. Kinda sad really, in a hilarious way.
