Well, she obviously had a crush on him, but there was nothing inappropriate before this incident. Let's put it this way - it was accepted as part of the legal process that there was only one "incident". He went down (oops, bad choice of words...) strictly on the failing to stop her.

He's damned either way. So he stops her and she gets all pissy about it and then makes up some bs story and he's eff'd. She was in the tent would be the only thing that could be proven, and that would be more than enough.
