So whats the deal with TV coverage this season. Setanta, TSN2, Sportsnet, Sportsnet One?
Does the Score show EPL games anymore?

I think he meant to say is the potential lawsuit a bad thing, but I could be wrong.
And I really don't think this ratio is a good thing for the EPL. I can see it being an issue for leagues like the MLS and the CFL (yes, I'm comparing Canadian football to futbal). Those two leagues are small fries compared to the big money makers in their respective sports.
For the EPL, if the English players are good enough to play on any team, then they will be signed and play in one of the top tiered leagues in soccer. I don't see how forcing teams to keep x number of homegrown players is going to do anything to help the smaller clubs compete.

English players are so much better than German players though, I thought everyone knew that.....

Looked like it should have been a goal, or at the very least a handball, Foy looks like an idiot, he is standing 2 feet from the incident and he is looking at his linesman for help, not exactly confindence inspiring.

Stoke don't deserve a point - every corner/free kick/long throw, Shawcross or some other Stoke thug were all over Gomes. They were fouling him again there like they did on the first goal. The sooner Stoke and their dirty cheat players leave the EPL the better.

the post was in the way of Foy, he was at a real bad angle and couldn't see it
it was probably in, but there is no way either ref could say 100% certain it was in. But it never would have happened if Shawcross didn't push Gomes in to the net. So in the end the correct thing happened.
I don't know why they don't just bring in goal line technology, so dumb

Jesus cry me a river, football's a contact sport.. I would love Shawcross or Huth on my team and I'm sure most managers in the EPL would too (at least for Shawcross)

ya I am a big fan of Shawcross, he was fouling Gomes on every free kick yes but if he was doing that for my team I would love it because he was doing it in a way that he wasn't getting caught

Exactly, it's up to the ref to call the fouls, if he's not then the players might as well keep doing it.

Who wouldn't want Huth on their club when you're stuck with Titus.
You're argument is weak - yes football is a contact sport, holding your ground and blocking the keeper is one thing - diving into his knees and pushing him over is another. That's like crying foul when a hooking or tripping call is made because hockey is a contact sport.

The point is that rather than whining about Shawcross being a "thug" your issue should be with the ref. He didn't call anything so as far as I'm concerned Shawcross might as well keep barging into the keeper.
And nice one about Bramble, coming from a fan of a team that shipped 3 goals inside half an hour to Young Boys, all due to their centre backs.

Thug/cheat play is ok if the ref doesn't see it. Got it.
Great comparison too - one game compared to a career. I'd rather ship three goals to young boys in the Champs League Quals than watch Bramble every week and hope for a FA Cup quarter final.
Awwwwww - I can't do it, I like Sunderland too much to give you the gears about your club so I'll stop now.

ManU's arrogance got the best of them. A penalty to go up 3-1 and put the game away and Nani takes it? really?
Berbatov, Owen, Scholes, GIGGS!?? Anyone. Nani?
ManU had just gone up 2-1, if the game was still at 1-1 there's no way Nani takes that penalty.
Two big points lost due to arrogance and stoopidity. They'll lose the title by 2 points.
