If I was Lebron I would avoid Reinsdoff like the plague.
I would be looking to Miami.

That gives them a lineup of:
Backcourt: Rose - Wade
Forwards: James - Noah - one of Bosh/Boozer/Stoudemire
Bench: Luol Deng, Kirk Hinrich, James Johnson, Taj Gibson
Sign Ray Allen as the aging vet looking for one (or two) more ring(s), then round out your 12-man roster with a couple big guys for depth at the forward positions: Joe Smith, Antonio McDyess, Kwame Brown, Francisco Elson.
You would be paying luxury tax, but that core of Rose - Wade - James could win 4 or 5 championships.

That would work ONLY if Bosh, Boozer, and Stoudemire don't want max money (don't see why they wouldn't). The NBA is really weird and thats why you see a ton of sign-and-trades. The team they currently play for can offer more money then any other team in the league so to get the maximum amount the league will allow you sign with your current team and they then trade you. The downside to that is you don't get to pick where you play, the upside is you get a massive contract and lots of $$$$$$$$.

I'm just curious, but would the Clippers have cap room for Lebron? I would think the idiot would like to go there simply to compete with Kobe (though he doesn't have the commitment) and because of the LA nightlife. As for if Brown should be fired...hell yes. To see the team tank over the last two minutes was a disgrace. Any coach would have called a timeout or fouled in the last minute but they stood around watching. How that occurred I'll never know. Personally, I feel James purposely tanked so he had an excuse when he eventually leaves. If he does, oh boy does that team need to rebuild. They'd possibly be the worst in the league.

The clippers have the most dysfunctional owner in the league. Plus you would be playing int he Western Conference - maybe but no go IMO.
I say its Clevland, NYK, Miami.

Thanks for showing up for Game 1 Orlando.
Wow, Boston plays like crap in the regular season then turns it on in the playoffs.
PP still hasnt shown up, I guess it will take him faking an injury to get motivated.

Sigh.
They showed up wayyy too late. VC, Lewis, and Nelson were playing their hearts out, which bodes well, but the Celtics really locked down today. Howard needs to stop whining, and get more involved.
Rasheed Wallace hit a couple tough threes, Lewis missed a couple open ones, and that was the game.

I didn't think the Celtics were going to come out this strong in the playoffs.

I thought Pierce had been the best player on the floor in 2 of the last 3 games, Game 5 against Cleveland and Game 1 against Orlando.

Kobe is such a pansy. Between him and Jackson, I really can't stand this team at all.

Lakers getting a LOT of calls. We complain about NHL officiating but the NBA seems about 1000 times worse.

That is the one thing I dont like about the NBA, that officials are so important and they type of calls you get change so much from game to game and from ref to ref.
With Lamar and Kobe shooting like they did that is a hard one for Phoenix to win. I still believe they need to get LA bigs, Gasol most importantly in foul trouble early. If streak Lamar and Bynum beat you so be it - they wont be able to beat you with those 2 alone for 4 games in a 7 game series.

Vince Carter's name along speaks volume. Falling and withering on the court holding his ankle, then choking with the game on the line. Also...dude needs to brush his teeth. Those we're disgustingly yellow

Rondo, Pierce and Howard all played well last night. A little surprising to see Boston up 2-0.

I'm looking forward to the game tonight. I think the suns will try to come out with a lot more energy, but the laker bigs have too much length.

Oh Vince, I believed in you!
I don't know, as with game 1, I don't think Boston played much better. They hit some REALLY tough shots. I also feel like the Magic are getting anything they want against the Boston D other than open 3's (ie. layups and deep postups), but finishing those floaters and 10 foot jumpers have been bad, while Rondo at the other end finishes anything within that distance. The Boston offence isn't that impressive either, and there have been tons of shot clock violations due to the Magic D. Unfortunately, close doesn't really matter and the Magic are down 2-0.
The only fix I can see is matching JJ Redick with Ray Allen for the whole game. Amusingly, Redick torched Allen while holding him to a terrible night.
Orlando really just has a thing with failing at the free throw line...Nick Anderson, Howard, and now Carter. I still believe though. I feel like they were the better team in game 2 and half of game 1, but have nothing to show for it. So hopefully it turns around a bit in Boston - neither team really cares about playing on the road or at home so there is still hope.
