Do you mean opposed? Not sure what you mean.

If so, even with fewer teams in the league they're not all going to be packed with stars. You aren't going to get this kind of play on a regular basis. Ever. Except on stacked teams like these in short tournaments.

We could go back to only having 6 teams I guess...

Maybe they'll, I don't know, let them play hockey and only call the SUPER OBVIOUS penalties, like when Ryan put his entire arm around Heatley's waist and hauled him down.

man i'm gonna be so depressed after the Olympics. watching Team Canada in hockey and all of our championship athletes in our largest gold run ever has been an awesome diversion from a pretty bleh Flames season. i've avoided the Fire on Ice form entirely for the last two weeks, and now i almost don't want to go back

And even then the six team NHL was hardly comparable to what is being played tonight.

Comparing a one-game, winner take all event to a regular season NHL game is ridiculously silly.

I'm going to need a break from hockey when this is over. I've been overloaded, watching 2 or even 3 games every day for a week!

I hope Iginla comes back and plays some inspired hockey like in 2002.

God, let's hope they don't start calling penalties every 3 minutes or so, let the player's settle it. I hated the Slovakia-Finald game, penalties every 2-3 minutes, teams couldn't get any flow going.
