Kipper was totally at fault on the first one, not so much on the other three. His team has been doing absolutely nothing, as evidenced by them allowing another 2 by the poor Minny goalie. Finland must think the game starts at 3 this afternoon.

Kind of like how Luongo gets all the blame for letting in 7 goals?
Finland looks brutal. Kipper looked just as brutal. Anyone who disagrees is a homer.

Ferraro Rocher's time with the Oilers cemented both his head and his hate for the Flames. Guy probably still thinks that the Oilers are going to make the playoffs.

We'll just have to agree to disagree. Horrible defense I'm on board with and the USA is playing great, but sometimes you need your goalie to make crazy saves.
This point isn't being helped by the fact the US has scored twice in the time it took me to write the above paragraph lol.

Did he really get fired?
Disappointing for Finnish fans to see their team come this far in the tournament and completely lay an egg like this.

Not that I'm saying that Kipper didn't deserve some critism, but it's intersting how Ferraro was just all over Kipper, and then as soon as Backstrom came in, he was all over the team and still talking about Kipper, despite Backstrom letting in two goals immedietly.

Finland has not recovered from that awful gaff by Kipper. If he doesnt let in that 1st goal, its a different game for sure. Sucked the life outta Finland.

Really how oftern do you see post to post saves in any hockey game, come on. Kipper makes the saves on some of those goals, they are saves of the Olympics and maybe the year.

Debacle. Kipper made some mistakes but the whole team just folded after the first goal. Weak.
Kipper needs to remind them of the Flames vs Hawks game earlier this year.

That is true, I will have to agree with you on that. Backstrom should have had that first goal, but in reality, Kipper should have been better. At this point, it looks to be a rout.

This. Should have been obvious that the team collapsed after the first goal. All around bad showing.
I just caught a glimpse of that smug Torts. Where is the vomit emoticon?

Get real, the first goal was just the start of what was inevitable.
