Tyson is so dumb. I can't stand him so I found it very entertaining when his own stupidity cost him the game. Then in his interview at the end he says he's still awesome. Yeah, sure he is.
Its a few votes to late for the Heroes to start thinking about keeping a strong tribe. Voting off strong people early in the game is never a strategy of success. You'd think repeat players would know this. They're sunk.

Yay Russell!
That was a pretty entertaining episode, I can't believe Tyson fell for it. I liked the preview for next week where Rob is telling the other Villians how they should vote Russell out because he's dangerous.........yet Rob seems to either win everything or do very well in it. He's dangerous in his own right, albeit a different kind of dangerous.
Should be fun to see how that tribe shakes out.

I actually really liked tyson, hes got a great personality. He was much more prominent in his first season though.
Some classic moments was his heart to heart with Coach when he says "stop wearing feathers in your hair." man that was classic
The im still awesome line is equally awesome. Really funny guy

They couldn't afford to keep James, if tomorrow the challenge requires you to run out into the ocean and get pieces of a puzzle or something like that, they have to make James the puzzle guy or risk falling way behind.
I think there is a lot of behind the scenes stuff we aren't seeing because a few people on the heroes tribe made mention of James lack of camp activity. I think that played a big part in it as well, he eats all day and does no work because his knee is gibbled.
I would bet that a good chunk of their day consists of gathering fire wood, something they said he hasn't done and can't do for a while.
I was a big fan of James, but it just made sense to vote him out. The sad part is, as a team, it made even more sense last week. At least this way Amanda, JT and Rupert have secured their spot on the tribe with two more people to pick off before the merge.
So chances are those 3 will make it to the merge, unless they get swept in the next challenges. So if they do make it, and the 5 on the Villains stick together and 2/3 of Danielle, Parvati and Russell make it, those 3 from the heroes can align with them and go pick rocks. OR if 4 make it and 1 of danielle/parvati/russell makes it to the merge then Colby can swing and they and get revenge on all the people that have outted him since day one.
No matter what happens it should be really interesting how things work out. I haven't watched a full season of Survivor from start to finish since my boy Tom won... but this has been by far the best season yet.
I was a bit depressed to see a somewhat deflated Tom though, you could tell he just wasn't in the same shape. Despite being out numbered the entire time though he still did play the game quite well.
As for Tyson, well.. I always thought of him as a really clever guy, but maybe that is it, he is witty but just not smart. How could he honestly think that Rusell is telling him the truth when he knows that he is on the outs of tribe with Parvati and Danielle... I don't understand it. Either way, next time around Russell is gone or they are picking stones if Coach flops.

Russell is probably going to be allowed to touch Pavarti's boobies because he gave her the idol.
Its win win for him, he screws Rob first then gets to screw Pavarti second.

I wonder if Canadians will ever be allowed to compete in Survivor, or if we will ever make our own.

There was a Canadian on, I believe, the second season but he didn't last long after he was suspected of smuggling food into the game. He was also an American resident though.

LoL why is it that every time I mention Canadians in Survivor people assume that the show would take place in the Arctic?
Has a single season of this Survivor taken place in the Continental US?

Damnit we don't have the budget to send 16 people to an exotic location. We can do survival in Princess Island Park, but the hobo's keep jumping into the camera frame.

Tyson is dumb
Russell is unbelievable, I think that mini speech he gave about loyalty and then giving the idol to Pavarti might get coach to switch to Russell's side

That's what makes Russell such a great player -- he's reads people like a book. He knew exactly to target with his little plan, and it worked like a charm.
I was laughing at Rob's analogy of a suicide bomber. It's not a suicide mission if the guy survives....

Russell is gone next time the villains lose. He might be good at the game and think he is super deadly, but he doesn't have the numbers. Even if he gets coach, its still picking rocks. I don't think Coach will go to picking rocks. Coach talks about loyalty every episode, and he flip flops every episode but he isn't an idiot, he knows he can go to at least the top 5 with his current alliance.

Russell is the best player the show has ever seen.
he definitely has the numbers now.
The thing with him is, he doesn't need absolute numbers because of the wildcard of him finding immunity idols and his ability to play specific players when the time is right.
he needs a small, solid voting block of loyal women, and that's it.
Coach, in my opinion, is now firmly on board with Russell making it 4-4, and if Boston Rob does anything to alienate someone in his alliance (including something small like talking down to them, dismissing ideas etc), that person is ripe for the picking.
All he needs is for them to vote with him once, exactly the way he played Tyson.
The guy is awesome, can't believe he didn't win the first one.

The only reason Russell didn't win last season is because the entire jury was bitter and butt hurt over how badly he dismantled them.
All I can say about last night's episode is Boston Rob better watch his back because Russell is very vindictive. By trying to clash horns with Russell Rob put a giant target on his back, and Russell will stop at nothing to get him voted out.
@GreenLantern: As GTF mentioned the closest to a Canadian was Kel Gleason in Season 2. He was born in the US, grew up in Fredericton, and then moved back to the US. He's the one they accused of eating beef jerkey (it was actually grass) and was voted off in episode 2.

The jury is the only real problem I have with this game. Basically it comes down to the person that does nothing in the game except hang onto the coat tails of the biggest . It doesn't reward you for outwit outplay outlast, it rewards you for being the biggest suck up wishy washy coattail hanging dork in the game.
