I love how the one linesman was ready to award a catch to the incompletion there.

Michael Ignatieff looks worse than the old foliage behind him. Who is his makeup artist, Treebeard?

Those were the acts for the Pre-Grey Cup parties, not for the half time show.

Not as though the act at half time is going to be any better.

That was a lame illegal block penalty. They didn't even call it on the right guy. It wasn't #88 Howell, it was #89 Jackson!

I think that is a catch and a fumble, but so very close. They overturned it, incomplete pass, 3rd down Calgary.

Game almost over. Looks like the Esks never bothered to show up. Good game by the Stamps though.

The thing that impressed me most about the Stamps today: no missed tackles. I can't think of a single one, until that last drive where they obviously backed off a bit. Also much more disciplined.

That was a near perfect game by the Stamps. That's the kind of offence AND defensive play-calling I have been waiting for all year: on offence they ran the ball consistently and controlled the game; on defence they forced the Eskimos to pass and then made the tackle almost every time to make it very difficult for them to sustain drives even when Ray was completing every throw.

You know it's a good game when you only see Amadi screw up once.

Awesome complete game by the Stampeders. They throttle the Eskimos 32-8.

Burris had a bad two possession starts but he settled down after. He started throwing the ball to the veterans Thelwell who had an excellent game(this guy likes playing on Labour Day game) and Jermaine Copeland. Plus the Stamps got Reynolds so involved in the game running and catching the ball and even blocking. As we all know when Reynolds is clicking the whole team seems to click as the other team's defense are thinking is Burris going to pass, hand it to Reynolds or ran the ball himself. The Offensive Linemen played so well today blocking and giving Burris and Reynolds so much room and so much time. Newman and Tsoumpas played well. O'Neill with the exception of one incident also played well. I give the whoole offense 4 out 5 stars today.

On Defense, the passing yardage for the Eskimos is a little bit misleading as most of Ricky Ray's passing yardage came in late in the game when the Stamps defenders just start backing off and letting the Eskimos receiver catch the ball and just stop them right away. RB Arkee Whitlock of Edmonton had a miserable game. Stamps run defense stopped him right away whenever he's got the ball. Even when Ray pass him the ball, the Stamps defense makes Whitlock's day miserable. Run defense improved big time in the last 2 games. I like Carpenter and Shannon James as a linebacker but they are both small LB but have a big heart. With addition of MLB Tim Johnson who is 6'4" and with Malik Jackson playing LB helps with the run defense. Now we have 2 big LB and one small LB who can also help play against the catch. It was an awesome game for the defense as well. Next game we need to pressure Ricky Ray more.

Special Team: Excellent game for special teamers especially the coverage. Marc Calixte had a humungous game and he was always the first one to try to tackle the returner. Punter Burke Dales also had an excellent game trying to punt the ball away from Jackson and Whitlock. He must have booted the ball towards Jason Goss most of the time. When he punts the ball to Jackson, it always comes out short where you see Jackson going after it. Jackson came close of losing the ball of one of his return.

I am so very happy for the win. Go get them on Friday Rematch.
