I can't believe this will only be around for six weeks in the States. Guess I'll have to go back to the US between April and May to enjoy it.

That looks so gross they need sex to sell it

Without knowing the details of when and where it was to be released... I looked for this during my visit to Cross Iron yesterday. I was a little disapointed it wasn't there. I'm more disapointed that it won't be there.

I just tried this on my recent trip to the States. Not all it's cracked up to be. It was a little messy and difficult to eat. It was surprisingly light as well. Probably less greasy and nasty than your typical fast food hamburger.

I'll probably stick with the original recipe chicken from now on.

I tried this a few weeks ago. I didn't really like it. It wasn't as greasy as I thought it would be but it was salty as heck. I greatly prefer the Baconator to it, and then you don't have to suffer through the gross KFC fries.

If your down in the States you gotta go with the extra crispy.

There is extra crispy here too, just it is fading and not many people order and not many KFCs do it anymore which is too bad.

Regarding the Double Down, I don't think I like the messy sauce. Just give me the two pieces of chicken and the bacon and some of Arby's honey mustard.

I tried one when I was in the States over the summer and I had it will grilled chicken instead of the deep fried kind and it was OK. Nothing great but all right. The sauce was bad but once I took that off I had 2 chicken breasts with a couple pieces of bacon in the middle. Not that exciting.

Thinking back I guess I could have put gravy on it.......

Interesting that the Double Down hits Calgary the same day as Municipal Elections in the area. If I were Barb Higgins, I would totally take credit for this.

I think I'm going to take the 19th off, and have a Double Down for dinner on the 18th. Who know's how my body will handle it.
