Yeah, if your a good player you should be able to beat a good team if the player sucks. Unless the game eff's you where Malkin gets a goal every shot (which happens almost all the time).

I will admit I have lost to people as Calgary, playing against Edmonton. I was even down 0-3 to St.Louis as Calgary (I came back and won 5-3), so it should be fair. But I will admit, when the Islanders/Coyotes are facing Calgary or Pitt, it will be super tough.

So have we decided how the schedule shall go? Is everyone committed to playing a full 82 game season + playoffs? Or should we cut the season in half? Whatever we decide, we can set it up so that we all play the proper teams the proper amounts (or 1/2 the amount of proper times, depending on how long the season will be), that way the schedule is more flexible, say if I'm Atlanta (ugh), I'd play my division rival 6 times, but I could play those 6 games back to back to back to back... etc. and then move on to the next team?

Unfortunately, we won't know anything until the game launches. There has been very little info from EA about any of the game modes.

Game launches on Sept 15th and we're starting the season on Oct 1st, so we'll have plenty of time to go through the settings and get all the details worked out.

If we can do 82 games, lets do it. But if it is like 09 leagues, you can only do 15 games I believe.

I was just thinking...since there is no picking. How bad would it be to be stuck with the cansucks? Wow, that would be horrid. I think I would prefer dEdmonton. I can't really believe that. Even with lou. Shudder.

I will take no shame in taking the Canucks or the Oilers as the 26th pick, and I'm pretty sure they'll be available. It's not like any of the teams remaining will be any good or ones that I like, so I'll pick whatever team is the ebst remaining so I can win (I'm super serial bout this league)

Vancouver would be a decent team to play with. Hatred aside, they are pretty good and Luongo is super stat stacked in the NHL games.

That is exactly the problem. You would have to want them to be good in the game. You would feel so dirty you would have to shower after every game.

Yeah. No way the nucks last to 26. Someone will take them. They are in the top half of the league.
