First episode was actually quality for this show that has been pure since season 1 and 2.
The second episode was awful and showed you how little progress this show has made since it's second season. They've killed Drama and Turtles characters, absolutely no growth and no storyline. Not to mention, the Seth Rogen thing was a little too much and it was just Doug Ellen trying to be a tough guy. For anyone that missed it him and Mark Whalberg while being interviewed and called the Appatow crowd "misogynistic." Yes thats right, the two creators of FREAKING ENTOURAGE! Pot....Kettle?
I will stand up for Eric Connoly, I don't think he's that bad of an actor at all. This may be in large part to the fact that he gets to act along side one of the worlds worst actors in Adrian Grenier. Put Pauly Shore next to that guy and he looks oscar worthy.
Sometimes I just don't get people. People moan and complain so much, and yet continue to watch? Huh? If you don't like a television show, don't watch it, it's a simple as that. In fact, you not watching it will have more of an effect on its existence than complaining about it on a message board!
I just saw ep. 3 and liked it. I already like this season more than the last season, I see a lot of potential. Turtle's character should really take off this season.
When the show ended I actually blurted out "WTF?". Wasn't expecting it to end when it did. Blah episode.
Yeah, it just, ended. This season is sucking badly. And what the hell is getting him a Ferrari California. That is an ugly ugly ugly car. Should have gone with a 430 Scuderia or 599.
What's with Ari becoming a father figure for these guy's? I guess Vince's recent success has softened him a little. Got to admit the stick girl came through with some solid criticism of E's show and wasnt just being a tow the line type girl. Hanging out at E's house all day would creep me out though!
The show is trying to evolve beyond the "Vince is a star, big movie, lots of chicks, his buddies follow him around to all the events picking up his scraps, etc..." That wore itself out after a few seasons...
The writers are really left with two options - explore the other characters and not the shallow storyline above or end the show.
The show is just a lot of fun. I don't care what anyone thinks.
Exactly. The only complaint I have, is I can't watch all the episodes at once! I didn't start watching this show until mid-season 5, and I watched all the episodes in about a month - its torture only getting 22 minutes of air time per week!

Speaking for me I really enjoyed this shows earlier years and got into it right when it came out. I loved the first three seasons and considered myself quite a fan of the show. I'm not just picking on a show I can't stand at all because there are still certain aspects I like.
+-
I actually enjoyed this episode quite a bit, and I usually hate all Doug Ellen written episodes. i don't mind seeing Eric getting more screen time and actually evolving as a character. And I have to say the Ari/Loyd storyline has to be one of my favorites of all time.
My beefs with last night
- The horrible celebrity cameos continue. That had to be the worst one ever last night, especially with Turtle in a soft tone looking over and saying "hey curtis"
- Will they please give Drama a freaking storyline? He has to be my favorite character on the show and they have given him nothing but absolute the last 15 episodes. Are they just never going to bring up the bar he bought back in New York?

I thought that one was pretty funny. There's plenty worse cameos. Michael Phelps definitely comes to mind. Lamar Odom was weak.
