Oh I get it, you get to pick and choose what forms of immorality qualify. It must be sweet to be the morality police.

No, I just took my philosophy classes seriously and you know... actually studied. You should try viewing the world through another lens besides that nice, but useless moral relativism.

Sorry, I studied in classes that actually have lead to me having a well paying job.

Moving past that ad hominem silliness, here's a scathing review of Hitchen's poison-pen letter to the Clintons:
http://www.salon.com/books/feature/1...ens/print.html

This is written by someone who also dislikes Clinton--who should, in that sense, be a kind of fellow-traveler for Hitchens. But he points to Hitchens' rhetorical AND ethical excesses in this book. Simply put, it's a tissue of overstatements and innuendo supported by mock-outraged purple prose and fake high-mindedness. I'm actually on Hitchens' side when it comes to most ideological issues--but the guy is clearly a ######bag, and I do find him a little hard to take.

As for his irrational hatred for Clinton (he--I kid you not--accuses Clinton of having a small penis in the book) is it possible it dates back to the year or two that they were both at Oxford? I kind of wonder if Clinton slept with his girlfriend.

That's very fair. I don't really respect Hitchens as a scholar, he isn't one, he's just fun to read and he sometimes comes out with a rare insight.

That said, great review and it has changed my opinion of the book somewhat.
