I think that was the first time I heard an applause from the audience. Everything else got the silent treatment.

I'm going to go ahead and disagree with you there. I really liked Galaxy, but about half way through I just was hit with a wave of boredom and I never picked it up again. Sequel looks to be the same, so I'll probably pass.

Mario and Metroid the highlights. No Zelda! Pretty short presentation by Nintendo.

They definitely ended strong. Wii Sports Resort is probably the only one I'd pick up out of the lot though. If I do that I'm hit with another problem ... am I really going to purchase 4 wiimotionplus things just for parties? I'm not even sure I'm popular enough to have enough parties to make that worth while.

Man, why do I even look forward to Nintendo E3 press conferences anymore. I heart rate monitor? Really? And the Motion plus we've already known about since last E3.
So the only thing that looked good there was the new Metroid game, and Galaxy 2. I guess I'm a little excited about the new Golden Sun game for the DS as well. Other than that, the conference was pretty bleh. I'd have to give the edge to MS so far.
Lets see what Sony has in store this afternoon.

I think it's the time slot more than Nintendo. Sony's is only supposed to be the same length too.
It's hard to complain about that conference. 2 new Mario games and a Metroid game.

They really either needed to expand on that vitality thing or leave it out entirely. It makes them look completely insane.
Does it call the ems if you drop dead playing Wii Resort?
Is it supposed to be used in some kind of hardcore dating sim?
The mind reels at what they were thinking bringing that thing out. My exercise for the next 1/2 hour is to try to figure out what the hell it can be used for.

It's going to be bundled with a pile of solid games (Tiger Woods 10, Red Steel 2 [which is actually supposed to be very, very good]) for $69.99.

It's clearly intended for the Wii Fit Plus market I'd say.
I could see it being used effectively in survival horror games though. Kind of similar to the sanity meter in Eternal Darkness.

Yeah, I decided to skip the Nintendo conference. I don't have a Wii and don't plan on getting one anytime soon so it wouldn't have been worth it.

Ok Sony. There is no conceivable way for you to lose this one. Don't F it up. PS3 Presser ... GO!
If they release a motion controller I'm going to kick something. Not to mention after Microsoft's Natal thing yesterday any sort of wand would look straight up ######ed at this point.
I want to see:
Uncharted 2
God of War 3
Gran Turismo 5
No motion wand
A reason to actually use home
Price cut
GTA DLC that the 360 has already had
Exclusive Rockstar something
A new psp that can play psn games
Too much to ask?
Edit:
Uncharted 2 looks unreal.
MAG looks like it may be too hectic for me, but still cool.
So far I'm having trouble seeing what the psp go can do that my iphone can't.

I suppose that goes without saying, I was looking more at the other things the psp go does. For me all the fringe benefits of the go are useless because I already have all that. So it boils down to the games. I'm not sure I'd pay $250 just for the games.
