I would literally buy a person. SHe wouldn't be a house person, she'd have a small dog like house in the backyard. I'd teach her to catch a frisbee with her teeth.

Would it be a regular size person or a midget? That'd be cool to have a pet midget.

If the win was a couple million dollars, I'd be out of here in a split second. I'd maybe consider some volunteering on a casual basis, but that'd be about it. Oh, dare to dream.....

Depends on how fast the midget is because I'm throwing the frisbee as hard as I can.

Throw a boomerang and get the midget to super mario in front of you and catch the frisbee.

I'd start up a hunting lodge that caters to people who like to hunt children, animals and seniors just so I can counter Moncton's good works.

I think I'll call it the random gunfire club.

No one wants to buy a half dozen tim hortons? Thats what i would do and I'd sneakily create some new doughnuts named after me at my locations.

Just a question for when I win next month. Do we still have to goto Winnipeg to collect the money? Or is there a place in Calgary to pick up your winnings?

Oh also i don't buy super 7's or 649's unless the pot is $10million or higher. winning a million just isn't enough. hehe

I would probably work. Something part time, just to keep me busy.

Probably, I would have a bachelor pad, and keep a pretty low key profile. I would live comfortably with anything around the $5 million mark. Anything more than that, and you would start to feel the government pinch on you a little too much.

I see a lot of people would want to start their own business - I wonder, why not do it right now? Regardless of capital, unless you have some major networks (I guess being in Calgary, if your startup is a junior O&G, you could have those) you are going to be seeking VC/angels for networks ontop of capital, and honestly a couple million probably isn't going to be enough to get you going. Additionally, startups usually work you considerably harder then your average 8:00-5:00 job.

Also, for those wanting to do a startup - and I'm guessing by startup, they don't mean opening their local 7-11 or burger shack - what would you do?

Also interesting to see a lot of people want to get into real estate, but with (say) $2 million, you are probably going to pick up what, 10 houses? Or by real estate, do you look at other options? Owning a apartment complex, parking garage, storage, mall or hotel?

I would open a sports pub that is totally different from all the garbage out there now. I would pay my servers well, and would hold them to outstanding service standards, while keeping my prices low. I would do this as a long term project and would not expect to break even for a long time, at least 5 years.

I would hire Mike Tyson to bite all your ears and eat your children. Those that resist, will be forced to get a face tatoo.

No one can stop Mike Tyson, he is impregnable!
