David Stern must be hyperventilating right now. I would like to be a fly on the wall during the conference call between David Stern and the Game 5 officiating crew.

People are sure sensitive around here lately. Have you never had a buddy dig at your for making a mistake? Kinda the same idea around here.
I really want to see Denver take tonight's game and I am not too sure I want to watch the Cavs game on Thursday because as someone mentioned the refs will probably be ridiculous towards Orlando. I see Howard fouling out early in the 4th because of it.

yeah i get that...just ticks me when someone contributes one line of criticism to a post and that is all. even though i did that in criticizing his criticism...i think i need another coffee...
anyway, is shaping up for a good GAME 5 tonight, this is the best Denver has looked for a long time. if the nuggets can win tonight, they klook good for teh series

But it wasn't one line of criticism it was a joke.
Not sure why you are getting all worked up about a joke.
(Phew, two lines no need to worry about getting in trouble for a one line post!)

no prob...i hadnt had my morning coffee this morning...for what thats worth (not much )
now after my slice of humble pie...what do we think of the nuggets chances in this series?
For me, it is a tough call...that win last night was the first game in this series won by more than 2 possessions. Kobe is clutch, but for the lakers to win, they need to help kobe out, put up screens, maybe gasol and fisher need to step up in the clutch moments more too. to me right now, if this turns into Kobe vs denver (kind of like lebron vs orlando), the team (denver) will come out on top. maybe it was the series against houston taking it out of LA, or maybe denver are playing that well...but right now, what many thought would be a procession to the final for LA is turning into a dogfight that they just may lose, especially if denver can win tonight and be the first team to win 2 straight in this series

In any 7 game series which is tied 2-2 I have always said (but don't have any stats to back it up) that the team who wins game 5 takes the series.

tough loss last night for the nuggets. Fisher finally found his shot for LA and Gasol played a great post up game, creating space on the floor for everyone else.
tough ask for the nuggets to win both the next two...but positives could be found in the way kleiza played late in the game to keep the nuggets in the game, but their defence got broken down too often, and they were making too many uncharacteristic (of late at least) turnovers
still think this will go to game 7, as I think the nuggets will snap one back in game 6...but no team in this series has won two straight yet

They just have to force game seven. Think of how high the pressure will ramp up for a game seven. No way to know how the Nuggets would respond to that pressure but it becomes a whole lot more of a crapshoot. Especially the longer they can hang in the game.

His jump shot is sick. I remember not long ago he wouldn't make that shot 50% of the time. Way more control of his body and it's amazing where he find the mind to throw the ball up after every foul.
Now imagine him 5 years from now with the dedication he has for his game...sick!

I predict if CLE doesn beat MCO, Mike Brown is fired.
I think it might be the first time in NBA history that the coach is fired in same year as he recievd the coach of the year awards.
CLE game or lack there of in the 4th quarter was a joke. They will not win 2 more games with that.

Lebron is pretty insane. I almost see rule changes because of how dominant he is going to be. Stuff like dribbling into the lane into 3 guys does not constitute a foul no matter how much contact there is. It was okay before when there was more bumping in the perimeter, but he (and Dwayne Wade) are so good at drawing contact and finishing off the 3pt play that they may have to re-evaluate the whole situation.
I still think Orlando has this.

Contact is contact. This is the whole point of dribbling into the lane, if your defender can't stay in front of you or can't plant both feet then you have to get out of the way or make sure you get all ball.
The three point play is a huge reason why the last few minutes of the game are so exciting. If they didn't get these "free" points with the clock stopped you would not see the same excitement with teams down 4-10pts with only a minute left. The fact that these guys can go into another player, take contact and still have the presence to get the ball up and towards the net is amazing! It would almost be like taking tripping out of hockey.
I think Orlando can win one of the next two just because of the way they have played over the last 5, really this series should be over if it wasn't for a miracle shot by Lebron at the end of game 2. However if LeBron and the Cavs found a way I would not be surprised by it seeing how they have shown to take control of games just failing to hold on to them.
