I think part of the reason that this went in this direction is the fact that these girls are willing participants. They'd rather sell their bodies than get a part-time job.

Cons:

To continue the serious discussion I'd like to add the following:


Pros:

• Teenage whores have a lot fewer miles on them than their non-teenage counterparts.
• By keeping the lights off you can avoid any unfortunate realizations that you are related to the girl (this is of course only relevant because it is happening in Edmonton)
• Since teenage whores are relatively inexperienced they won't know how bad you suck (I'm of course assuming that the kind of guys that go to whores are pretty lame in the sack)

Cons:

• With this kind of exposure it's only a matter of time before inflation kicks in and it'll cost you the equivalent of a meal at Earls instead of BP
• Can't bum a post sex cigarette off of her. You know cause she's not 18

It doesn't help that the story isn't really based on a lot of facts and is based more on a rumours and urban myths.

I mean I am sure that the writers 12 year old daughter is a reliable source but it does leave some room for doubt.

If the story was about the Edmonton Police busting up a ring of 50 girls from the same high school and having evidence to lay charges it likely has a lot more impact than the pretty crazy accusations coming from someone trying to sell their book.
