On Joan coming back, zero, she's served her purpose.
Clint might be an ass, he might not take other peoples opinions, but he gets the job done and he's effective.
I just haven't been impressed with Jesse. He really refused to fundraise, he's never really stepped up to be a project manager unless he's pushed into it. On every task he sort of sits in the background, and in every board room he kinda sits there and brilliantly or not flies under the radar.
For those Reasons (Crunch hammers his desk waking up his coworkers in the next room and then points menacingly at his computer screen) Jesse your fired. Now get out of here . . . Go
I think I did the right thing
(Imaginary friend) - Yeah it was a tough choice.

On the topic of Jesse I agree. I think last week and this week he is damn lucky his team won. The fund raising power outage was a huge error. As was whining like a baby yesterday. But I would agree to use Annie's poker analogy, Jesse is playing to survive not playing to win.

The thing about Jesse is that if he gets to the final two I think he could surprise dramatically and wipe the floor re. contacts for fund raising ... both his own and Sandra Bullocks.

That is a pretty big if though. With Rivers squared gone, his team is now Clint and Jesse. That sounds like a recipe for success.

Funny, I definitely think Joan will be back one way or another. Most of these actors just like to be dramatic.

They'll bring her back as a worker bee on the final task and make sure that she ends up working for Annie.

I could totally see that, same reason they moved Jesse back to Kotu.

is that better or worse then the "lemonade stand" format they were using before? who can sell the most "dog washes, wedding dresses, massages or whatever".
i dunno, i hate the blatant brand placement and Trump endorsements of this show. i guess its the format though.
and the Celebrity version is at least for charity, so the fluff has a point. however, the original Apprentice format, really? he is going to pick someone to run a multi million operating budget based on who can sell the most "popsicles"? id like to see them put these people into a real business and turn it around over a 1 year cycle of business. but that wouldnt be good TV nor could they sell much promo time.
back to topic, nice meltdown!

I wish I had photoshop skills. A Rivers/Chernobyl photoshop would be in order.

Clint Black is an ego driven little worm! Haven't I said this before? Could I hate Clint even more than I do now? Yes! Will I watch if he is in the final round? NO! Will my head explode like others here?? YES!! Will I ever even look at his ugly squinty eyed face again? NO!! Remember the many who would you like to punch in the face threads? Guess who my choice is...but I'd pick him five times instead of five different people. Sorry, just my Clint rant, don't even get me started on Annie, I don't have the energy!

Its definitely worse. Selling and pitching stuff (even if it's hot dogs) is much more in tune with the ethos of the "great business man" that the show is supposedly about, than them trying to be visually creative. No smart business man would ever take on the task of being a creative director/graphic designer (unless thats their speciality), since it's just a totally different skill set. I don't ask a CEO to design my business card, and I don't expect him to ask me to crunch his TPS reports.
The worst client is always the one who doesn't know where their own limits begin and where they end.

I can't remember for the life of me what reason Trump gave for firing Rivers?
Was it the lack of money she raised in the past and he a had concerns regarding the amount of money she could raise going forward?

Raise your hand if you are tired of hearing poker analogies every episode. I am getting tired of "in poker..." every episode. Oh well we will probably be hearing it until the show is over because she will probably win.

I'm tired of hearing about poker in general, not just on the show.
