Found it. 2 A 310s.

As part of the Air Force Multi-Role Tanker Transport (MRTT) program, two CC-150 Polaris aircraft have been converted to strategic air-to-air refuellers for Canada’s fleet of CF-18 Hornet fighter aircraft. The Polaris is capable of transferring 36,000 kilograms (79,380 pounds or about 36,000 litres) of fuel to receiving aircraft over a journey of 4,630 kilometres (2,875 statute miles). Consequently, one Polaris tanker can ferry a flight of four CF 18 Hornets non-stop across the Atlantic Ocean.

It's obvious to me that Lockheed Martin paid the Ruskies to make that flight.

Funny, thats what one member of the NDP basically said, not that he believes in conspiracy theories or anything like that.

John Barlow, the author of the editorial, is on the right of Capt. Erickson in the photo earlier, with the scribble pad in hand. He was on the media team for the Cow To Latte competition against Heartland earlier in the day.

I sent the link below to Capt. Erickson a few days ago. The reward for her being the villian and the front page attention the controversy was drawing, was all the smiles Millie helped create on Fair day, particularly among the kids. . . . .

And all things Fair at http://priddismillarvillefair.com/

The CBC Calgary Eyeopener has a pretty funny 10 minute piece a few weeks ago on their website, including Millie's hesitation in starting up.

Helping market something that was essentially a flat-line pulse in April was a lot of fun frankly . . . . and nobody knew when we started that the napalm would be a Bear-intercepting fighter pilot and a 60 year-old tractor.

I have her mother's permission . . . . and introduced myself to her as "I'm the guy you want to slug . . . ."

Pretty funny moment . . . . because we both knew it was true.

Ok so back to the Hercs. Got 'rescued' today by some Sar techs out of Winnipeg. They homed in on our beacon (simulates an ELT), and made a few drops, including the techs. Pretty cool, they made a dozen low altitude passes getting everything in order. Unfortunately my camera sucks and it was a pretty low ceiling but I took a few pics. Would have been nice to get a shot where you can actually see the ramp lowered or the guys exiting but alas was not to be. Oh ya, Apparently they still use the Hercs for Air to air refueling on occasion.
