Just want to see if you were paying attention. Guess who the Panther's goalie is tonight? At least according to NHLNet....

Haha, the Oilers fan on our team told me ealrier in the summer that we shouldn't associate the team with Calgarypuck. I said, it's too late there's already posters who have said they will buy the jersey when they come out, he said "you won't sell ONE single jersey to someone that isn't on the team, nobody's going to buy a rec hockey jersey just for the hell of it, they're just f-ing with you, wait and see"
I'm about to send him an email with a link to this thread, and I'll emphasize the date in which the thread was started.

For sure! I think it's a great idea (obviously since I want one) and was hoping since I joined that it would happen. It would even be kinda fun if you auctioned off game worn ones but you'd probably want to keep those for yourselves. Oh yeah and point out to Oiler man that even some nitwit in Fl. who has never even been to Calgary wants one.

You should place a large cash wager first....

I wanted everyone to see some different shots and video of the jerseys before everyone puts money down. I also wanted to give everyone a chance to get their name in, as I can't just order a couple later for people who missed the boat.

okay, sounds fair, just wondering because the thread had dropped. Is there an estimated time line of when the final day to order would be/when we get them?

So it's not too late to order one?
Drunk Skunk is shirking his responsibilities and just told me about this yesterday. I definitely want one!

I really want to do this for you guys, but is there anyone who wants to step up and take control of the order? I've become really busy with work lately and don't know if I can get this done right now.
Basically, if someone was willing to do this, I would just let Cal-crests know who you are and that we're allowing you to order some of our team jerseys. Then you would have to take everyone's order, take everyone's money (based on the quote), and then put a $1000 deposit down, at which point they will start making the jerseys. Then you go down when they're ready and pay the remainder.
I will probably still do it if no one steps up, but I just don't know when I can get around to it, whereas someone else may be able to get it going asap.

Funny, I was just going to comment that I'd be in the dog house forever with the misses if I got one of the jerseys, but I am fairly certain I'd get away with a Calgary Puck hat.

OK, so if it's not too late to order these, I would like:
Colour: 1 Red, 1 White
Size: XXL (?*)
Name: Campbell
Number: 16
Shoulder number: 16
Shoulder patches: would be down for having that Alberta province outline patch from the concept jersey if enough people want to; if not, then no shoulder patches.
Front crest: Yes
Also on a semi-related note, is it possible to buy Flames pants and socks somewhere online?
* About the size: not sure on sizing. I have an Edge in a XXL that is fine for wearing around, but too small to wear equipment under. If I wanted to wear equipment under these would I be better off going with a XXXL? Or are the new jerseys bigger than the Edge ones, and a XXL be big enough to get equipment under?
