They will start the jerseys as soon as I have a deposit in, the deposit is $1000, so I haven't decided how I'm going to do this yet. I can either get people to pay a deposit on the jerseys, and then the rest when they are done (however this makes a lot of work for me, as I will then be collecting a deposit for the jerseys and league fees, and then the remainder of the jersey money and league fees), or I can just tell everyone to pay for their jerseys in full (once they tell me exactly how much) and not pay the deposit until everyone has paid in full.

Or maybe a certain someone can sponser the team. However this person may not be able to play next year, which would mean he likely wouldn't sponser the team. plus I believe he was looking for a team of all Cp'ers. Although of the guys coming from the other team, 3 are season ticket holders and one's a gamepack holders, however one of them is a hardcore Oiler fan.

The other option is I could pay the $1000 deposit, get them going on it tomorrow and then the $1000 would go towards my jerseys, socks and league fees, and then whatever's left over I'll take from someone else's fees.
Those look really nice. I don't think we can sponsor this particular team, and Saturday nights don't work for me personally to play. We would be open to sponsoring/playing for other CP teams that might form in the future.

The logo credit should go mainly to me, unless the '67s complain. Then, it was all Rhettzky's idea.

Conceptually, I totally agree. However, remember this bad boy?

Just sayin...

For anyone playing on the winter team (or people ordering their own jersey), I'm going to finalize the roster very quickly, and then set a deadline of the first week or two of July to have all the money in for Jersey's. The deposit (probably around $260) will also be due sometime in July (I may combine them), then the remainder will be due sometime in august.

Also, if anyone was planning on playing, but you're really turned of by the thought of paying almost $300 for jerseys, make sure you let me know right away, cause you may not be the only one. I don't want to scare people away or piss off half the team before we even play a game, lol.

We've decided that we are going to lump the deposit for the jerseys and the deposit for the league fees into one payment that will be due by July 15th. I'll post the exact amount in the coming days (I still have to confirm how much the deposit is for the league fees). I'm 99% sure the deposit is $2500, so with 13 players that will be $192.30. The deposit for the jersey's is $1000, so that will be another $71.42 (divided it by 14 because Jayams is paying for jersyes but not league fees)

So that's $263.72, so I'll likely round that up to either $270 or maybe even $300 to make collection a lot easier (obviously the extra money would go towards your final league fees or final jersey fees).

For the guys that aren't on the team but are going to buy a jersey, I'm going to take your money separatly and not include it in the deposit (just so it makes it easier for me to keep track of what I'm doing here). So for you guys, I'll take your order before I go to pay the deposit, then I'll just hold your money until the Jersey's are ready for pick up, and pay at that time.

The second payment will be due sometime in August and will be for the remainder of the jersey cost and the remainder of the league fees. I will try and coincide this payment with the completion of our jerseys (she said it should take about a month to 6 weeks from when your deposit is in).

*I'll post this in the other thread as well just in case some people only read that one.

Also, there are two issues that need to be solved....

1. The one time start up fee for them to create the logo is $200, like I posted earlier. However, I wondered if it would count as two different logo's because one is red based and one is white based. She confirmed that they would have to charge for creating two logo's, so two start up fees of $200. So we can either a) use one of the two, and it just won't look as good on one of the jerseys, or b) just eat the cost, and keep going all out with this (it would only add another $15 per guy). I would rather just pay the extra and create both logo's myself.

2. The socks from cal-crest are nromally about $12 a pair, but she let me know that because the new Flames one's are special order, they will be about $60 EACH!!!!. Obviously that's just ridiculous, so our options are a) use the Flames socks circa '97, which are close but not perfect, or b)not order socks from cal-crests, and instead hope that the reebok edge socks come out for sale to the public somewhere in Calgary before we start playing. I'm sure with some diligance and time, someone will find these socks in Calgary. I even thought about phoning the Flames and seeing if they can hook us up, as I remember reading on here that they sold literally hundreds of those socks at their equipment sale. Maybe they didn't all sell?

OK, for us guys buying the jerseys, just let us know when we need to get you the money...plus we need to tell you our sizing. Does the price include name bars?

Well I'm going to try and get a better, more accurate quote for you guys that are just buying one tomorrow. The problem is that she won't give exact pricing until they are done, but if you follow that pricing chart I posted, you should be able to get close to what you'll be paying, although I don't think she sent the pricing for name bars, so I may have to post that tomorrow. Payment will be due by July 15th for you guys as well.

Sounds like a plan. I'd prefer a name bar, but as long as I get a goalie cut, I'm happy

Maybe if everyone who is on the roster could confirm that they have read about the due date for the deposit, just so I know who has read it and who hasn't. Thanks.

I've read it!

Oh and how am I going to go about getting you this money? How do these wire transfer things, or paypal things work? I'm not well versed in the way of either of them.

Neither am I. Jayams, do you have a paypal account? I had one, but it was shut down.

I know you can also e-mail money now, but I'm not sure how that works either. I think you put your debit card in the floppy drive, then open up hotmail and copy and paste your floppy drive to the email, and then I open the email and send the attachment to my floppy drive, and cash should come out of my floppy drive if all went well. Or if you have cash, just scan the cash and follow those same steps.

Got no problem spending the extra cash to get both logos done up right.

How about I take a picture of the money, send it to you, you print it off and then take it for the deposit? I don't see how the banks could have a problem with that.

Frankly, I don't even know how to hook up my bank account with a paypal account. So if somebody could even tell me how that's done...well that'd be great haha.

I have paypal, but I'm not sure how it'd work with all the fee's associated with taking money out of the account (if there are any).

It'd suck to end up paying all those "transaction fees"

I've read it, and I think Flames socks circa '97 should be fine.

Also, we're going to put a shinny together pretty quick here, so you guys are welcome to come out and see the level of play and meet some of the team. I'll keep everyone posted.
