I was really hoping that no-one else would have said Transformers. I felt like clawing out what part of my brain that movie hadn't already melted.

The Matrix 2 was so bad I still haven't seen #3. And considering how much I loved #1 that is really saying something.

What was the last Will Ferrell movie I saw? Yeah, put that on here.

Boo to whoever said Adaptation. What a brilliant film that was. Then again I don't mind Nick Cage. (I also liked The Rock and Family Man. WHAT.!)

Pretty sure they weren't going for realism when they made that one. If you're putting Die Hard 4 on the list because of that part of the movie, then you essentially have to put every action movie ever made on this list.

Nothing wrong with that thought, it was awful. Maybe if you watch alot of cartoons, like the WWE, and read graphic "novels"; you would disagree. I'd agree it was probably the worst I've seen in some time.
Blast from the past: we rented Zardoz many years ago and thought it was terrible. While shopping last Christmas I saw it in a bargain bin and just had to get it. Have yet to watch it again though.

Christmas Vacation II: Cousin Eddie's Island Adventure.

One Christmas we were talking about movies to rent and it came up that my parents had never seen Christmas Vacation. I told my mom she should rent it because its probably the funniest Christmas movie ever made. One day I'm over at their place and she happily tells me that the original was all rented out (being it was xmas time) but lo and behold she'd found the sequel. Upon seeing the cover of the movie I knew I didn't want to see it, but I watched it anyway because I didn't have the heart to tell her that. It was as awful as expected. Even more so.

It has an absolutley awesome 2.7 out of 10 on imdb

Man, it's movies like that where you have to wonder if at one time during production the entire cast and crew just turned to each other and said "holy fack, this film is really going to suck". But just finish it anyway to get a paycheck.

I cannot believe that batman and robin has only been mentioned once. How did that thing ever get past the writing process? Watching arnold run around in an astronaut suit spouting out ice puns was the most annoying thing I've ever been involved in.

I'm going to throw my hat into the Lord of the Rings debate. I appreciate the epic scope of the movie and all that went into it . . . but I hated every single one of those movies. It isn't because it was always present or that so many people praised it. I just despised it all the time. I really dislike fantasy storie to begin with, and each movie just trailed on for soooo long it drove me mad.

Quick note that this is my favorite line of the whole thread:

Open Water - watching 2 people floating around in the middle of the ocean for a couple hours waiting for their imminent death gets rather boring.

Master and Commander - when an enemy ship attacks you and blows a huge hole into the side of your ship, you would think that it would be impossible to repair it when tons of water is gushing in, but apparently it's not.

Bingo.. the only movie I've ever turned off.

I've seen plenty of bad movies, but that one I just wanted to burn. Not a single redeeming quality to it.

That movie was almost identical to the book and is absolutely chilling to me. I love it. You can burn in hell you!

Yeah I know, but there is "not going for realism" and then there is Bruce walking on a jet fighter, girl hating her dad (who saved her mother's life, twice) for no reason, a babyfaced boy hacking networks via his cellphone, key power plants guarded by what, two losers? I can go on... And the worst part is that it wasn't even enteraining at all.

Agreed with Lord of the Rings. Totally overrated. At least make them shorter so we can get on with our lives.

Batman and Robin the movie was crap, but i kinda liked chubby Alicia Silverstone in tight spandex. haha.

Yeah, that movie was totally fantastic. Not really sure what could possibly be wrong with it.
