Boyd. He's the only one up. No one else really makes sense.

Although we did get in a solid: "Go Chucko!!" and a "Cal Puck!!"

Rob Kerr: "Cal Puck? I dont know what that means."

Some more OT Rob Kerr Gold:
"Wow, 3 callers in a row talking about prospects after the Flames steal a huge win, can we make it 4? No. I think an elaborate prank is being played against me!"

Dont mess with CP. We're always watching...

Kerr: is this some elaborate prank, the last two callers asked the same question
Kevan: oh really? they did? Oh, I didn't know I was in the other room....

Yeah, I opened with the Dan Ryder question.
It is funny that Kerr avoids acknowledging CP exists. I mean, are we some sort of threat? I dont understand why he doesnt just have a laugh over it instead of looking down his nose at us. In the 04 run he was in good humour about it all, he mentioned CP on the air and we got a kick out of it. But since then, not so much. Ah well, all in good fun.

Yeah I don’t understand it myself

I think there is a stigma amongst some media about message boards they generalize them and think that we all must just be a bunch of idiots that don’t know what we are talking about and that because they have a 2 year journalism degree from SAIT there opinions and thoughts are more validQuote:

			That's pretty much it, imo.
The advent of bbs/chat rooms/forums has broken the monopoly the traditional media has on controlling information. It's actually very rare these days when a radio host (nevermind a newspaper writer) gets to break a story that we don't already know about. I imagine for much of the old guard, losing that influence has to sting a more than a little, especially those that eschew the value of blogging.

I liked the comment from Kerr about not being invited to the meeting, or the dinner where this was discussed.

This is a "really elaborate prank" that KevanGuy and HalifaxDrunk cooked up at midnight half cut after the game!
