I agree, I think that show is excellent. It's consistently funny and creative. I enjoy My Name is Earl more than The Office, which isn't as consistent with the laughs. I think too many people skip over Earl, when they should be checking it out, they'll probably really enjoy it.

Frickin awesome show:

I finally had a chance to watch Journeyman the other night after it had been sitting on my PVR for two days. Really enjoyed the storyline and I'm already looking forward to the next episode. Will definitely be adding that to my list of shows.

Watched Cavemen last night. Either it's a commercial that's waaaay too long or they are saving the good jokes to use throughout the season. Either way, it's off the PVR list

I watched the last 40 minutes of Survivor Man. It was great, seemed almost the same as the Coasta Rica jungle location(I'm not sure where) but he stayed in one spot and showed some neat tricks.

He was in the Ecuadorian Amazon. It has been replayed a couple times. My PVR caught it 3 times this week.

Pushing Daisies is a pretty quirky show. At least it has a unique premise.

And I tried Bionic Woman again last night. I don't think I'll bother watching again.

Life - great great great show
Journeyman, seems ok - because Lucious Verenus is in it, I will give it some time
K Ville - alright, doubt it will last past season 1, althought they are pushing hard
Bionic Woman - brunette isnt hot enough for it to last, neither is blonde
Nerd Herd - same with Journey man, because they rip of BestBuy and Costco I will continue to watch

Journey man I think is very well done, I think I'll keep watching it
K-Ville is terrible right off of the bat, its a walking talking cliche
Bionic Woman - terrible show, its a wire fighting mess on steroids, I'm probably done with it
Reaper - What a great show and Ray Wise as the devil is a great bit of casting
Chuck - How can you not like a show with Adam Baldwin in it, to me the guy is under rated and adds menace and humor to any character. He was outstanding in Firefly, terrific in the last season of Angel, and he's been a standout in this show.
Bones - Still very solid
Caveman - The show that should be shown in Gitmo to get people to talk, terrible, can't decide whether its a comedy or a statement on societal racism.
Life - I thought it was ok but a little force.

That was a great show and probably would have lasted longer if the main character hadn't died.

I still remember them popping up in the middle of a armored column.

Carpoolers was on a couple of nights ago. Both Bruce McCulloch (kids in the hall) and the Russo Brothers (Arrested Development) have hands in this one.

Not the greatest premier...but some funny parts and I think it will pick-up steam if the network keeps it around long enough. Good premise and pretty funny writing.

Actually he didn't die on the set of that show - but on his follow up - a spy show called "Cover Up?

I really hope Kitchen Nightmares changes up the restaurants it visits. So far we've the same common elements over and over again:

- tyrannical incompetent managers. (lots of yelling and commotion, FOX style)
- family run operations with lots of conflict between the owners (see above)
- filthy kitchens (shock value good for ratings)

One of the things I like about the UK version is how the cruz of the problem changes from show to show:

ie
Momma Cheri's - (good food but bad marketing, and bad staff discipline)
La Riviera - 1st class chef, restaurant, and ingredients, but a complicated menu from the chef.

The UK had it's own US style calamities, but overall it seemed to be more about the food. The US one seems to have cribbed a few pages from the "extreme makeover" book, where everything is just unveiled on a platter, with little banter on how it got there.

Interesting to see they've brought the visit to the restaurant back, but compressed it into a 10 second commentary, with no actual visit by Gordon.

Journeyman - I like it, hopefully it will expand and get better
Life - great show, I like it, quirky lead guy. I like how he is quietly trying to put the pieces together of the crime that actually got him tossed into jail.
Cane - My favourite of all the new shows. Always been a fan of Jimmy Smits. thought he was great in NYPD Blue and then West Wing( really miss that show)
Bionic woman - interesting but if I missed it, it wouldnt bother me.
Deal or No Deal - how can you not like a show that has that many beautiful ladies on it.

Cavemen was a complete waste of time... I love the commercials... hated the show... I can't believe I sat through the whole thing...
