I did but not there. Managed to get one in Lloydminster, walked into the Superstore there and they had them sitting on the shelf. Apparently had been there for 3 days!

hey guys, i wouldnt have even posted this if somebody had not bumped this thread earlier, but i was leaving my work at the Deerfoot Meadows Futureshop about 20 mins ago, and as i was walking through the back warehouse, i noticed they had 9 or 10 wii's.... store opens at 10AM so if you wanna pick one up, they will have a few tomorrow morning

If anyone is looking for a wii remote like I am, there is a new game coming out tomorrow called wii play. It includes an extra wii remote. It has games like billiards, table tennis, fishing etc. It is going to be selling for $60 so it is not bad considering you get the remote.
I have called around and they may be hard to find but it is another option to get a wiimote

The review for this game at IGN.com is pretty bad but if you need the remote it's probably worth it.
I grabbed Zelda and a Classic controller in anticipation of my Wii, which HOPEFULLY get's processed correctly.

I'm still looking.. sadly I've got no time to go out and purchase one from jroc's FS..
I did however pick up a DS for my trips out to the field.. which I get to go back out to on Wednesday..
If anyone else works at FS and knows when one comes in, I can take a morning off in the coming weeks and pick it up. If someone is nice enough to let me know

If anyone is interested in games, amazon.ca have a few lower than retail. Some examples:
* Zelda: $54 (usually $60)
* Wario Ware Smooth Moves: $54 (usually $60)
* Ant Bully: $20 (I don't know anything about this game, but this is the first time I have seen a new Wii game so cheap)

Yah I preordered it like a week ago heh. Anyway no major deal if it's not great. I figure $40 for the wiimote and $20 for the game is decent.

Nintendo's online store still seems to have remotes. I ordered from them and had the remote in less than a week.

It's funny, I just randomly checked my email casually checked out consolewatch.com and saw The Source had them, I went to look and boom, in stock, went to order... couldn't find my wallet! argh! Thought I was screwed. Took me 5 minutes to find my wallet, finally put in my CC info and was amazed it was still there for me.
