For 2 elections the CPC hammered the Liberals on credibility issues. I think the CPC found it is much easier to talk a good game.

Well....its always easier to say....rather than do. But if you think the Conservatives are not keeping their promises.....and are like every other party.....maybe you should check again.

Just thought I'd point out something:

The current Convervative government is a minority. The past Liberal governments have been large majorities. Any track record of accountability on the part of the Conservatives should be taken with their present situation in mind. They just don't have the standing to do whatever they want, and must appear transparent inorder to hold on to their very thin level of support.

Didn't Harper say that he wasn't going to visit the marriage issue again? Seems to me like he reneged on that one...

No he never said that. He said that he would have an open vote on the issue....that is all.
