ya, Elias is a pretty good deal at 21st pick. I'm hesitant to go with any of those Jersey guys since Gionta and Gomez are unsigned.

Looks like the 20th position was a really good one. Tilley got Datsyuk and Elias. Not bad.

I love being the last pick and getting that double dip at the end of the 1st round. Allows to grab two for sure PPG type guys.

after my recent brainless pick of an injured player, it got me thinking (something I should have been doing before):

are we going to have any bench players? like if one of our 8 forwards gets injured, are we just out of luck? I realize that we're suppose to pick two goalies, so we're covered on that front, but how about 1 extra player on forward and defence as a substitute/bench player?

or is there a bench player included in the 8 forwards and 4 defence?

^^^Good question and another is are we going to allow waiver moves. That is where you dump a player and pick another up in its place that no team has. I think this should be allowed as it enables people to stay in the race further, and not get fuggered strictly because of injury.

If thats what everyone wants then thats what we can do. This pool is for everyone.

If we do that then we have to decide on the following:

1) Will there be a maximum number of moves you can make?
2) Do we set a "waiver deadline?"

Lots of pools only allow a certain number of moves like that a year, which would be nice so guys aren't making moves every day.

I agree it would be nice to have at least a couple of waiver options, though.

I'd set the waiver move max at five. That's the number i've used in the past and its worked.

Deadline? Not sure. Maybe the same as the NHL trade deadline.
