Oh come on now surely if that was true it would have been mentioned during the broadcast

Looks like 49 wins in a row and 50 games with at least one point. Their last regulation loss when scoring 4 goals in a game was a 6-5 loss to Colorado on December 11, 2023.

Sharks, Ducks, Kings, and Knights all have a much easier remaining schedule than the Oilers.

Hopefully they all make use of that.

Just watched the highlights

I’m so sick of this ####ing league and those whiny, spoiled little bitches.

Why does Hanley “have to answer the bell” but Hyman, or more importantly Pissy never have to?

No wonder I don’t watch anymore.

I like his interviews. Mostly because you can usually count on him trashing the Edmonton Oilers or the Edmonton media, which is a bit of a rare thing for a player actually playing in Edmonton.

His vibe isn’t great but I’ve worked with a lot of Germans and I would say he’s closer to the average in terms of tone, bluntness, etc. It must just come with the territory.

That is one of my fav movie scenes

Skip: You guys. You lollygag the ball around the infield. You lollygag your way down to first. You lollygag in and out of the dugout. You know what that makes you? Larry!

Larry: Lollygaggers!

Skip: Lollygaggers.

I felt bad for Jarry watching his interview. He looked like he knew his family was being held at gunpoint somewhere after being told he had to take responsibility and not blame the horrid Oilers D. Or. Else.

It was just painful and awkward, I was almost expecting one of the reporters to ask him if he was told he wasn’t allowed to criticize the team defense, because it was so obvious.

Of course Draisaitl was probably told not to blame the goaltending either, and he tried, but gave up and blamed everyone but himself, including the goaltending.

Is it just me, but I don't recall other teams trotting their goalies in front of the media as much as the oilers do. Especially after a loss.

Low point of the game for me was when the Oilers fans in the stands were loudly and audibly outcheering the Flames fans with the "Let's go Oilers, Calgary sucks" chants.

High point was Lomberg scoring the game winning goal as they were cheering it.

Fun!

That's funny, I hate that he is an Oiler because I think he is awesome. Blunt. Vocal. And a warrior.

Unfortunately an Oiler, so I must hate him for that reason.

I'm looking forward to all the goals Gridin is going to score off a Parekh stretch pass. It's going to be a thing of beauty!

I wanted the Flames to beat the Oilers. But with the Rangers and Blues not looking like they want to win anymore games this season, it's a high price to pay to lose that top 3 pick.
