Wow Phillips looks pretty dang smooth... WAY better than I thought after we drafted him.. Only 18? This ain't no Kanzig/Hunter Smith
He's definitely gone up a notch for me..

One of the knocks on Phillips is that he’s historically handled the puck like a grenade. I feel like that’s solvable, and if he can find some poise to that edge he’s pretty exciting.

Definitely haven't seen that in these 2 games.. It's like his big stride helps him get the first move past the pressuring guy..

Both teams like to shoot from pretty far out. That ain’t gonna fly too well in the NHL where the goalies pick up those shots WAY better.
