Just tells you how much hockey and playoff hockey especially is a mental game.
This is really bad for Carolina, they were already the underdogs, and the Panthers have looked unbeatable.
Really not the time for jitters.

Almost every Cup winner has a dominant third line. Chicago had Sharp-Bolland-Frolik. Tampa had Goodrow-Gourde-Coleman. The Panthers line of Luostarinen-Lundell-Marchand is another one. It would be the 2nd line on a lot of good teams.

The thing that makes Luostarinen and Lundell great is their two-way game. They can go head to head with anyone and be a shutdown line if needed. With a solid third wheel (like Tarasenko last year) they'll even produce pretty well. But Marchand is like having another Reinhart on that line (like two years ago), now the can be a serious threat offensively.

Can't forget Sutters which line was that?
Dwight King - Jarret Stoll - Trevor Lewis 2012
2014 King-Stoll-Williams
Tampas 3rd line went to Team Canada and got beat by Florida.

That was an absolute Clinic put on last nite. Stars and Oilers better play some lites out hockey if they intend on even competing for the cup
Honestly. The Panthers are hugely dominant . Maurice has them dialed in . They skate away from all the BS and play a team game.
Not lured in easily to bad distractions, stupid penaLties, and deliberate infractions ....this team wants to repeat and deserves it .

And the Leafs who lost to them in 7 with their backup in net need to tear down the franchise and run guys out of town lol.
What if the Panthers sweep the next two rounds, Leaf fans and media will look pretty dumb...more so than usual

Was Woll a clear cut backup. Seems they split starts Woll got 41 and won 27 and Stolarz 33.

And even so, does Stolarz change any outcome when you're getting caved in 6-1?

I actually think the Leafs were a pretty solid team this year, and would have easily beaten the Oilers.
